If I could give this a zero stars, I would. Pull up to the drive thru. Where there is one car. That car was sitting in the same spot for 10 mins. Finally they pull forward and I realized why they took so long. The person running the drive thru not only had their mic too low to where I could barely hear them, I had to repeat myself atleast 2-3 times for each item. They rang up the first 2 items and then my 3 pretzel twists and then I ordered a small sonic blast with cookie dough. It was as if I was speaking another language because they asked me 2 more times what I said then I see an item pop up for a large chocolate shake. And then they asked if that was it and I said no it’s not. I didn’t want a chocolate shake. I explain 2 more times what I wanted then it went silent. I wait patiently for someone to say something and nothing for about 2-3 mins. I say “hello?” And nothing. Then 2 mins again “hello” and nothing. 2 mins go by and the screen told me to pull forward. I get to the window, Frustrated by now because I’ve spent about 10-15 mins waiting for this order, and someone else repeats the order to me and it again comes up. A chocolate shake. I say no I didn’t want a chocolate shake. Tell them what I wanted. And they didn’t say pretzel twists either which I didn’t catch because of being so frustrated. They rang me up for my food and the second blast because I didn’t get to order it back at the menu. I got charged for two large. One chocolate shake and one sonic blast. They didn’t remake the first one. Only covered it with vanilla ice cream and put syrup on the top to make it look ok. I didn’t get my pretzel twists, even tho I didn’t get charged for them, I still wanted them, but at this point I was done.. I will not be returning to this sonic. Read moreMy boyfriend and I frequent here often and it is normally great,, unfortunately last night was anything but a great experience. I usually get a grilled chicken wrap, although not on the menu they make it for me which is so kind of them. Last night when I asked for it the lady over the intercom snapped at us “ that manager is not here!” Which apparently Kent they could not do it. Frustrated but understanding I just got a sofa and my boyfriend ordered his food, we got to the window and I decided I would get a corn dog, she then snapped saying “we only add on drinks” and I was understanding, she just had the rudest tone out of anyone I have ever encountered and on top of it all we received the wrong food. We asked about the correct food and she snatched the food back closed the window with no words and stomped off. We looked at each other dumbfounded in the car my boyfriend and I. Luckily we went across the street to De Leon’s and they took excellent care of us. That will be our new weekend go to spot. Read more9/29/25 between 1 to 2 am, I waited about 30 minutes in the drive-thru for two DoorDash orders. When I reached the window, the staff was moving so quickly that after I drove off I realized one of the drinks was missing. I pulled over and approached a female employee who was assisting a customer outside. When I asked about the missing drink, she immediately screamed at me telling me to go back through the drive-thru.
I understand that many restaurants have strict policies about the drive-thru at night, but the way I was spoken to felt very inappropriate. Whether I am picking up for myself or on behalf of a customer, I believe basic courtesy should always be expected. On top of that, there was unnecessary back-and-forth over which drink was missing, which only made the situation more aggregating.
As a dasher, missing items can directly impact my rating and reflect poorly on me, even when the mistake happens at the restaurant. This experience left a negative impression, and it makes me strongly reconsider whether I should return for...
