Sonny's — Restaurant in Omaha

We went there to celebrate a birthday with our dogs and have a girls day. All was great until the “owner” decided to tell our dog he needed to stop barking when he clearly just got spooked by boys running everywhere. That was whatever but the worst part was he went up to this female after she left with her dog and told her she wasn’t allowed to bring him back again. MIND YOU ITS NEXT TO A DOG PARK. We tried to go up and have a conversation with him to settle the issues and he laughed and cussed at my friend saying we needed to make an appointment because he was “busy” with his employee as he had his hand on her leg and caressing it. The most disrespectful and unprofessional I have ever experienced and I did enjoy going to Sonny’s prior to this experience. The employees are so amazing but I was very upset with this experience. Sunday afternoon I took my dog to the dog park and stopped at Sonny’s after. My friends and I have been there several times before without issues. However, Sunday a very agitated male employee approached my group and acted so unbelievably out of line. He was upset about my dog barking which had only happened twice. Instead of asking to speak to me or handling it in a professional manner he chose to raise his voice. Dogs excessively barking is against the rules and I would not have stayed if that was the way my dog was behaving. I would have left on my own if my dog was behaving poorly. There were several other rules that were blatantly ignored by others and yet he chose to approach them respectfully. His behavior was embarrassing, aggressive, and the exact opposite of what customer service should be. His unprofessional and aggressive behavior is unacceptable. Needless to say, I will not...

This year Sonny’s is upgrading big time and I’m excited to see what they do!

They are a little airstream parked at the Aksarben park (currently not there until their grand re-opening in June)

We went to their soft open featuring their new cocktails! I love their cute grass area with the live music aspect. However, they need more variety when it comes to drinks since you can’t bring drinks from the inner rail bar.

For someone who doesn’t enjoy beer and might not be in the mood for wine, they didn’t have many options.
