Trips Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Omaha

This was hands down the worst experience I have ever had. When the six of us arrived we walked by five patrons sitting at the bar drinking. All the tables were empty, however we choose to go to the back because the only table large enough to seat the six of us was directly located by the window to the kitchen.

We sat down and waited 10 minutes without any acknowledgment or service. I approached the bar and the lady bartender had her back to me. She was talking to a customer and told him that was the way it was "effing" going to be and if "effing" customers didn't like it they could "effing" leave!!! WOW!! He pointed to her that I was standing there. She turned around and rudely replied "can I help you"? I inquired where the menus were....hoping she would take the hint. She pointed down by the kitchen and said they were on the wall. Again...WOW! I proceeded towards the window by the kitchen and didn't see the area she was referring to. I turned around and three customers sitting at the end pointed to them for me.

I went to the back and told my family what had just happened. I was ready to go, but they were hungry. I thought ok, let's she if she will come back and apologize. NOPE! One of the members of the party went to the kitchen and asked if a server would come to our table. He explained this was our first time here and we weren't sure if we went to the window and ordered. Cook replies she will be with us in a minute. She never showed up. After 22 minutes of waiting for her our patience ran out! We exited this establishment. She did not acknowledge us walking out either. Terrible, just terrible experience. Our first visit here was definitely our last.

Might I add we drove to another establishment that was packed! We got the last table and all of us could sit at it! The service was amazing! Prompt and friendly. The food and beverages were fantastic. We left our waitress a 30% tip!! Thankfully this establishment saved our...

Ya ever have one of those day's .... ya wake up and its just bad from the get go? One of those days that's unbelievable? And ya order Uber Eats.. kids are starving bla bla.... yeah you get it! So that's was my day..... waiting.... waiting...... seen Uber was on the way and seen the lil car stop on the map.... tick tock... tick tock 30 minutes later our food shows up. Kids don't want to eat it... just not fresh. Way less than fresh. I was in tears. I called and talked to a gentleman named Tommy. I have never had anyone be so understanding .. about something that wasn't there fault. He had me come in whenever it was good for me. I came in on another bad day lol.... the whole staff is so nice, down to earth, welcoming.... like walking into s place where all the staff makes you feel like they have know ya since a child. Tommy offered to remake our food even though it wasn't there fault. And Oh my freaking lord..... we ordered a burger, pig wings, enchiladas and the mmmmmm Irish nachos and I gotta tell ya THE BEST FOOD! So fresh.... its a once in a lifetime a person walks into a place kinda grrrrr. And walks out feeling, warm, loved, happy and food that tastes like it came straight from grandma's kitchen. Very clean environment. All I gotta say is don't pass...

Horrible service and gross location. They knew a large party would be there but only had 2 bartenders and one cook in the kitchen. It was insanely hot inside and they blamed the heat for their inability to correctly pour from the keg we had purchased in advance. The beer was warm.

The food was good but it took 90 minutes for one person to get their order because they didn't have the ingredients to make a club sandwich (her backup order was a cheeseburger). My food took over one hour because they gave my order to someone else that ordered later than me. I had to wait for their order to come out.

They closed the kitchen at 8, claiming that it would cool the bar down with the hood shut down. Really, they needed the cook to help bartend since they couldn't keep up with that or the food orders.

The bathrooms were in poor order. The ladies had 2 stalls but only one with a door and no working locks, no soap or towels. I was told the mens had no stalls, only 2 urinals and a toilet in the open.
