Varsity Sports Cafe & Roman Coin Pizza — Restaurant in Omaha

My boyfriend and I came to this location last night, and we loved the food we ordered. It wasn’t very busy, so we were attended to right away. Our server was nice and she was very attentive. We ordered the Italian Nachos, the chips seemed like they were made in-house, and I really enjoyed the flavor profile of the seasoned Italian sausage, the pepperoni, the banana peppers and mozzarella cheese all melted together over the chips. It came with a side cup of marinara to dip the nachos into, my boyfriend and I really enjoyed them, we recommend! We also ordered an extra large bacon cheeseburger pizza, it was soooooo good. They have a special on thursdays where you can buy an extra large pizza for the price of a large. The pizza tasted like a bacon cheeseburger! I was really excited because it has pickles on it, and I have been waiting to try pickles on pizza. I have to start by saying that Varsity food is fantastic, there has never been a complaint there. Always fresh, delicious and hot. However, today's interaction made me very sad and makes me contemplate if I ever want to get food here again which is a shame because I live just down the street. I called in a tortellini order for pickup and I asked if it was possible to substitute the bread for extra tortellini. I explained to the man that I'm pregnant and the only thing I wanted to eat was tortellini and it seemed a reasonable request. The man agreed which was very nice of him but when I went to pick up my food, there was no extra tortellini and no bread, meaning I paid the same price for a full meal and only got half. And maybe I'm just pregnant and hormonal but I cried. If it wasn't possible to do, I would rather have been told that than gotten my hopes up for a meal that I had been looking forward to all day... Horrible Service! I visited in May 2018. I had Shawna as a waitress. She wasn’t friendly at all. She asked me if I wanted a 16 or 20oz beer. I said 20 and she gave me a 16 and “tried” to charge me for a 20. I visited again today, 6 month later. I instantly remembered her. Again, she asked me what size beer. I again said 20oz. She brings me a 16. When I questioned her she said something about asking me to many questions... You’re a waitress. She was very rude to my wife. Menu says Angry Orchard is on Tap, but she rudely said no cider on tap. As we sat there we heard two other tables very upset with this waitress, one about the beer selection and another with fruit flies in her drink. We asked for the tab, she came to our table 3 times without saying a single word, until the last time when she tells us thank you, hoping she can get a good tip.
