Scooter's Coffee — Restaurant in Onalaska

First experience: I just ordered 2 Ham & Cheddar and 2 Bacon Ciabatta sandwiches, as well as a cinnamon roll. The sandwiches were individually bagged and then put into bigger bag. The first issue we encountered was the lack of labeling for the sandwiches. Inside each bag, the sandwiches had slid apart, so taking them out of the bag was a messy affair. It was evident before our first bites that the food was microwaved. A mix of rubbery and chewy textures made eating the sandwiches unpleasant. The bacon was undercooked, the “cheese” can’t be anything Wisconsin would be proud of; the eggs were spongy discs on ciabatta while the eggs on the one deemed only as a sandwich were rubber discs. Even my dog turned up his nose.

We held out hope for the cinnamon roll, but that was dashed with lack of flavor of the roll and the overwhelming sweetness of the icing.

While I waited, I watched while a muffin was removed from its plastic packaging, tossed into the microwave, and then repackaged for the consumer.

The only reason for 2 star attainment was the excellent attitude of the order taker and the person working the window.

I didn’t buy coffee, and now I feel it’s unlikely that I ever will. So sad it didn’t work out. Guess I’m back to the KT hotspot...

My husband and I just visited your location for the first time today. The lady at the drive thru was very pleasant. Unfortunately the lid was not on all the way and when given to my husband the cup fell and spilled all over my husbands lap and gave him a pretty bad burn. I understand that things happen but that's not why I am writing today. I felt like there was no concern from people working. As we pulled ahead so he could get out of the vehicle. Not one person came out to see if he was okay. He is okay and we got him home and cleaned up. But there should have been more of an effort to come out to see if he was okay. My husband did say that he went back up to the window to grab my card and coffees that there was a person in the office that looked up at him and looked back down like there wasn't any effort to show care...

This franchise is new too this area. First take on this coffee shop was great. Drive through line moved at a decent pace. Less than 15 minutes on all of my visits, ( 3 visits, 3 different Drive through lines) I have sat in line at other Drive throughs much longer only to get the order. Keep up the great service. Prices seemed competitive, I go too enough coffee places to say that a 7 $ cup of coffee is competitive. Normal coffee menue and of course offers quick morning muffins too a burrito. I had the burrito, it was better than expected because this is a coffee place. I liked the Carmel coffee selection. Quick and reasonably priced morning stop . Tell me what your...
