I will NEVER return and I think you should all consider going else where when ordering a cake or any order for a larger party. This staff is not trained well and the manager has no courtesy for his customers. My mother ordered a cake days in advance and paid for the cake online. I was told to pick the cake up at 12:30, I arrived to the location around 12:50 and the cake was not ready. I told her the name for the order and she went to the back to get the cake and said to give her a few minutes. I patiently waited for about 15 minutes. Mind you there was no air conditioning in this location so I was miserable as the temperature this day was 108 outside. When she finally came to the front with my cake it had ZERO writing or decoration on it, which was not what I ordered at all. It was a poorly frosted plain white cake. She offered to write the names I asked for on it but said the cake was too small so she wrote them on the plate under the cake. Mind you, this cake was TINY. Turns out this wasn’t the cake that was ordered at all. After waiting another 10 minutes for her to write the names she brought the cake to the register for me to pay (my order was already paid for in advance). The cake began to melt at the register. She tried to take the cake to the back and told me to wait. At this point I’m frustrated. I told her no I don’t want a melted cake I’ll just buy a premade cake that they had in the freezer outside. I paid $35 for this cake that was not at all what I ordered online. I get home and learned that the cake I ordered had been paid for and they made me purchase another cake!!! And tried to give me a cake that was not worth what I paid for. I called and the girl told me I had to come back if I wanted anything done. VERY INCONVENIENT WHEN YOURE HOSTING A PARTY. I drove back to the store (it’s not close to my house) and we argued for about 15 minutes about my refund. They tried to give me less in return than what I paid for!!!! I explained over and over to the worker and even had her call her manager to speak with him because this was ridiculous at this point, nobody had any idea what was going on for some reason. They had me sweating in this hot building arguing about money THEY OWED ME BECAUSE I DID NIT GET THE CAKE I ORDERED AND HAD TO BUY ANOTHER ONE. The service here is terrible. VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH ALL PEOPLE INVOLVED AT...
Read moreI have been going to this Location on mountain and 6th for years and I have never had a bed experience until today. I decided to get some ice cream today on 4/14 And when I walked in, there was a young boy ( Probably young enough to be my son) making waffles bowls named Steven. He looked at me and turned right back around without saying hi or welcome to cold stones or anything. He then proceeded to go to the back to get the other associate so that she can help me and the other customer that was in front of me. The other associate came from the back and proceeded to help the customer who was in front of me and I just stood there waiting when Steven finally did come over to where I was standing.I had told him that I was just waiting for an online order I figured since it was quick he could just go in the back and grab it but he told me "she'll help you", then he turned away and continued making the waffle bowls. Shortly after that, a family of about five walked in and he greeted them and said Hi, welcome to cold stones but yet I didn't get as much As a Hey, How are you? Hello, we'll be with you in a moment nothing. I feel that if you're not gonna treat everyone the same then you should not be working in customer service because the perception of a customer coming into an establishment to get service and feeling like they are ignored and or discriminated against is not a really good feeling. Even the way that he looked at me when I asked him or when I told him that I was just picking up an online order he gave me a feeling that he didn't want to help me in the first place. That's rude and he shouldn't be working there. I hope the manager sees this and takes action because it's ridiculous. I've met the owner and he is a very kind man.But this person that he hired...
Read moreI went today at 12:45 to get a peanut butter and cookie dough ice cream. All was well as the girl behind the counter made my ice cream. As she went to check me out, the card reader was unresponsive on my side. She then spent the next 5+ minutes calling her boss and trying to get the machine to work. They tried what seemed like every available option to get the POS to connect to the card reader. By this point, my ice cream had begun to melt. She got off the phone with her manager/superior and told me she'd accept cash only or zelle if I have it. So now I was expected to pay for melted ice cream. I told her I had no cash or Zelle and asked if the ice cream would be thrown away. She said yes, so I replied "ok, have a nice day" and walked out. I think it's unreasonable to not just give me the melted ice cream for what was their own mistake. There is no reason to deny a loyal customer with no other form of payment when it's an error on the business' part. Will not be coming back to this location as it seems...
