I used to come here pretty frequently. The food is not the greatest around, but their service at least used to be decent. The last 6-12 months, the service level has greatly declined. And after our experience last night, I will never eat here again. Sure it was busy, but no more so than other times I have gone. We (2 of us) were seated and our order was taken relatively quickly, though the waitress was silent and did not verbally respond to anything we said. The wait for food was horrendous! A party of 2 came in, after we had ordered and they received their food at least 10 minutes before we received ours. My friend asked the owner for more salsa and beans to eat with the chips and the owner told us they were out of beans....which doesn't seem likely, since they serve beans with almost every plate. And he aslo did not bring anymore salsa. I ordered street tacos and they were fine, the amount of Carne asada was miniscule per usual. My friend ordered a Carne asada burrito. After 2 bites, he cut the burrito fully open and there was NO Carne asada in it, it was all beans. A waitress walked by and he brought it to her attention. She took the plate to the owner and then started walking it to the kitchen, but stopped by the drink station and turned around to talk to the owner again. The owner took the plate and brought it back to our table and we were told "I won't charge you for this, but I'm not going to make the cook make a new one." We were completely shocked by that. I ended up giving my friend one of my tacos, so he could at least have some Carne. We never did receive an apology for the wrong order. And despite the owner and two waitresses walking by our table multiple times, seeing empty plates, the bill never came, we had to ask for it up at the register. Also, the table next to us, they were finishing up their food when we arrived and had also placed a to-go order for chicken nachos. This poor couple asked at least 5 times where their order was. They didn't get the nachos until we were walking out of the restaurant. Honestly, they're lucky we paid our bill after receiving the food and service we did. And seeing how they were treating other people too. Because we wanted to...
Read moreMy dad had been wanting to out to dinner at El Erredero for a while now and this Sunday since it was his birthday we decided to take him there. (Party of 8 ) Unfortunately, we will not be going back. The food was okay. The service was not so great. When it came down to ordering the male waitress made some rude comments. My 10 year old autistic son ordered a cheeseburger & a Mexican pizza. This man proceeded to say “that’s a lot of food” immediately my son felt bad & said “but its okay right mom “ so i responded, “yes it’s fine we’re paying for everything we order anyway”. I want to mention that my son just now started to order his own food and those with autistic kids will understand why I was so upset about this experience. I wanted to give this man the benefit for the doubt thinking, “maybe he meant the portions are big” but then my brother ordered two different things as well and this man again raises his brows & says the same thing “that’s a lot of food”. As if it mattered to him. Our total was $193 and we only left a $20 tip. Although it was not quite the 15% it seemed reasonable due to that...

I recently dined at El Erradero in Ontario, Oregon, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience that I would highly recommend to anyone in the area. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a vibrant, inviting atmosphere.
The menu offered a wide variety of authentic Mexican dishes, and I was thoroughly impressed with the quality and flavor of the food. The enchiladas were bursting with savory goodness, the carne asada was perfectly seasoned and grilled to perfection, and the homemade salsa added the perfect kick to every bite.
The service was attentive and friendly, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure that my dining experience was nothing short of fantastic. The margaritas were also top-notch and complemented the meal perfectly.
Overall, El Erradero is a gem in Ontario, Oregon, and I will definitely be returning to indulge in their delicious cuisine. If you're in the area and craving authentic Mexican food, do yourself a favor and pay them a visit. You won't be...
