The layout recently changed and I donāt understand why but after a while I have adjusted. The staff at this location is 5 star and I am so satisfied with the service I receive here. The location is always clean and bright with employees in view to ask for assistance. My favorite part of the whole store is the deli area where the employees quality of service matches that of the meat and selection. I am always surprised to see unique fruit selections at this location and have purchased a delicious Jackfruit and Dragon Fruit. I often fumble around with my phone scanning bar codes to check for deals and this is the one downfall of my shopping experience but I adapt. All rewards and deals have to be āclippedā in the app first before checkout or you may miss out on extra points or free products. Once I got the flow of how Albertsons wanted me to shop in their stores, I have enjoyed redeeming rewards for useful and essential products I buy all the time like eggs, cheese, and milk or to get money off your total purchase. I have even taken advantage of ordering my products through the app but always left being a little disappointed. One experience with app ordering included asking for no substitutions but then getting some. In another experience, I was charged for extra bags. In the last experience, some items were not in stock at the time despite displaying them as available in the app. My last complaint would be with checking out in the app is inconsistent. When you tap on contactless it brings up an option for Apple Pay which is normal and useful in-store but when you place a pickup or delivery order the option to utilize Apple Pay goes away and I am not sure why. But in December 2022 I bought a bag of Hershey miniature bars in their original packaging. It was marked ā50% Offā. I got it from the discounted items shelves in the far back corner. I didnāt notice that the package had been opened and then taped shut until after I got home. After opening it, I found that the number of bars in it was about half as many as the label claimed, so the net weight was actually about half of what the package label stated. I consider that very deceptive and illegal marketing. But I was not going to bother returning it. I figured āYou get what you pay for.ā But then, after I finished eating them all, I happened to notice on my receipt that I had been charged the full original price rather than half price. So, next time I was on that side of town, I took my receipt and the packaging to the Albertsons customer service desk. I complained that I had been charged full price when if was mark ā50% Off.ā Then I mentioned that the package had been opened and only contained about half as many bars as the package label states. The customer service guy, said, āWell, yeah, thatās why it was marked ā50% Off.ā I was speechless. Could not believe he said that with a straight face. Ā Ā Ā Read moreI come to this Albertsons often seeing as itās the only store close to my house aside from Walmart. I come here for last minute items OR deli items. Lemme tell you though, the staff is ALWAYS friendly. Always. The meat department staff especially has helped me tremendously when picking out a prime rib roast for thanksgiving and my birthday. It was something new Iāve never cooked as a chef and I wanted the best. They explained the best and gave me some good tips. Gentlemen was super friendly and had great tips! The other part I come in for is the deli. I often get fried chicken for me and my growing family of 5. We love fried chicken as most do! The chicken is ALWAYS fresh. Iāve never had bad chicken there. Iāve also gotten the orange essence chicken and itās amazing! The staff there are also some of the friendliest Iāve met. Iāve waited to write this review for a year because I only moved here one year ago but not from far! The customer service here is just phenomenal. All the employees are lovely and get a hoot when I tell them āhave a good day and donāt talk to strangers!ā Because it always puts a smile on there face because itās literally there job to talk to strangers.
