Its not surprising that the word "fun" can be found in the word funnel cake because everytime I had fun there was a funnel cake there. Normally, to find a funnel cake you either have to go to a fair, a sporting event, or an amusement park. But now, you can get one of these delicious deserts anytime you want. Located on the corner of 6th and Vineyard in Ontario, is Fairgroundz a modest size sweet shop that sells everything that will make your eyes pop and make your mouth water. If Willy Wonka had a second factory, this would be it. They sell everything from scoops of icecream, to shaved ice, to cookies. But their specialty is the funnel cake, made fresh and cooked to order. The one I had was called the Banana Cream Pie and it was amazing. Lastly, this past year was a year unlike any other, a year that none of us will ever forget. It has been like a dark cloud over all of us, but having that funnel cake was like having the sun touch my skin. It was a nice reminder that there was still good/fun things in the world. Check out...

Read moreWould not recommend this place at all! When we first walked in the place had a super weird smell and once I got my âice creamâ (more like a slightly frozen cup of milk) it tasted exactly like the smell of the place. We asked how long a funnel cake would take to make and the guy there said 25-30 MINUTES! There was no one there except me and my group! Once we ordered the guy made us go outside of the restaurant to wait for our order! They donât even have tables or chairs outside to sit. We waited around 30 minutes for a blizzard ice cream and a cone! And by the time I received my blizzard ice cream is was 90% melted. It was supposed to be a brownie blizzard and instead I got a cup of milk with brownie crumbs! There wasnât even chunks of brownie in it. Youâre better off going to Dairy Queen. Do...
