If I could give zero stars, I would. I have been to this place several times with my husband and mom, and we had great service and food. Today we decided to all go have lunch together before I went to work at 2pm. We got to the restaurant around 1pm, and our order was taken just a few minutes after we were seated. There was a large family taking up several tables, and one of the male servers spent quite a while talking to them sitting at the bar. We waited and waited for our order, but nothing happened. My husband said something about it has been 20 minutes since our order was taken to the male server at 135pm, and the server just responded with attitude saying; "Ya, ya 20 minutes. Ya, ya." Then he just went back to talking to this family. After 40 minutes of waiting, we got up to leave. My husband told the male server that this type of service was ridiculous and the server just laughed and was very snarky telling us to hurry and leave. On the way out, there was a gentleman who put in a large order by phone and his was done before ours. This place definitely dropped the ball and we will never go back, nor will we recommend this place to anyone. We will just stick to Tacos El Primo, they ALWAYS have...
Read moreWe went to this restaurant this evening because the other Mexican restaurant we usually go to nearby was pretty full. We were looking for a place to relax, have a drink and not be disturbed. I had no idea how undisturbed we would be in your restaurant. We were the only customers in the restaurant and the hostess seated us. She came back with menus and a pitcher of water. Two glasses were already on the table and one of them was dirty so we asked her to replace it. She came back and brought the glass, but didn't pour the water. She left bean dip and chips and we never saw or heard from her again unless she was the person sneezing loudly in the kitchen. We ate all the bean dip and waited for a while. After twenty minutes, we just decided to leave. We did see the hostess on the way out. She offered no apology and didn't ask us to stay. We ended up going to another restaurant in Payette and spending our money there. It is pretty clear why your restaurant was empty when all the other restaurants in the area were doing robust business. Also-I think it is a terrible idea to have your glassware on the table while people walk by it and sneeze and breathe on it. But seriously? That is the least of...
Read morePossibly the worst service I have ever experienced in a restaurant. It's like they were mad at us for even going there for dinner last night. The guy who was the hostess wouldn't make eye contact or acknowledge that we were standing there, even though he was a foot away from us. After we had stood in the doorway of the empty restaurant for long enough, he finally came back from doing something at the bar and grabbed some menus and grunted at us, so i guess we were supposed to follow him. The waitress was no better; she never brought us chips and salsa, and she never came back to check on us, so we couldn't even ask her for some. Food was incredibly mediocre. Not bad, but definitely nothing I would put up with sullen servers over. Had to stand in the doorway again to get our check, because the waitress definitely wasn't coming back any time this week. I swear they resented us coming in, even though it wasn't right before closing time, or anything like that. Don't worry, I won't darken your doorway again, even though my husband will probably tolerate the service to...
