Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe food was great donāt get me wrong, but one thing that bothered me is what I witnessed when I was there. I donāt post reviews because I can just recommend to my friends and they can do it, but I came on here because I felt that I had to post this cause I kept thinking about it late at night. I think it was Saturday that this young girl walks in straight to the kitchen then comes out a few seconds later and starts talking to the chef, and I didnāt mean to eavesdrop till I saw the look on her face. I thought at first the girl was his daughter but it turns out she was a client, sheās the one that bakes the alfajores. From what I could hear over my tables conversation is that he was taking the credit of her work and she didnāt know that, and her family had told her, it seems like it really hurt her from the look in her eyes although she put on a smile. At the end it seemed that he wasnāt going to buy anymore and she left without saying much. If anyone knows her or sees her again please comment, Iād love to order from her, the alfajores were great just like the food and Iād like to enjoy both! Anyways other than that Iād recommend the lomo dish it was really good and the meat was tender, not tough or chewy just right! Iād defiantly go back at least once a month to enjoy...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAs a proud Peruvian, I was excited to hear from family that a new Peruvian restaurant had opened nearbyāand I had to try it for myself. I placed a takeout order around 7:45 PM on a Sunday, and despite arriving close to closing time, the staff welcomed me warmly with a fresh, hot meal ready to go.
The restaurant was in the process of closing and cleaning for the next dayāmopping and sanitizingābut still had a lively, welcoming atmosphere, with customers happily finishing their meals. As a business owner myself, I really appreciated their professionalism and cleanliness.
Now, onto the foodāmy lomo saltado was absolutely incredible. Perfectly seasoned, tender meat, fluffy rice, and just the right balance of spices. To top it off, they even had Diet Inka Kola for those of us who need our fix!
This place is a gem, and Iāll definitely be supporting this small business...
