Dmac's Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Orange Beach

Stephanie makes this establishment absolutely shine because she is just an absolute joy to be around due to the ray of a sunshine human being she is for making my first Dmac's experience so awesome. the food is ABSOLUTELY phenomenal. had i known driving from Brownsville texas on a 16 hour drive how great Dmac's was and is, I'd make that drive again just to eat here. the brisket and chicken are flavored impeccably. truly immaculate. no notes needed because it is that uniquely tasting and delicious. cleaned my whole plate and absolutely ordered more to go so i could enjoy it all over again on my way back home. if you want 1 of a kind BBQ or just an extremely meal to remember, it's right here in Orange Beach. AL and you'd be doing yourself a disservice by missing...

The food was nothing to brag about and was actually pretty underwhelming. We ate in the restaurant area downstairs and had good service from the bartender. There was a 3 piece band playing country music and the 3 or 4 other tables of folks appeared to be locals who are there often and the singer came and sat and spoke with all of them.

I don't know what the upstairs bar and music venue is like, but I likely won't return for another below par experience. The sign is hard to read and the whole place just feels like a reach...is it a sports bar, is it a live music venue, is it a restaurant ??? I don't feel like DMacs excels in any of these areas to warrant a return visit.

I don't expect it to be there in a year. Sorry. Moving on to so many other options in...

I was sitting downstairs at the bar and the bartender talked to a married man the whole time and she didn't ask me if I needed anything and was completely ignoring me and this guys wife just sat there quietly while these two talked about nothing important. Other servers asked me if I needed anything so I got two drinks and no after I waited a long time. I decided to leave and my tab was $13 so I tipped %15 and left. This was the worst service ive ever had! Anyway I was charged $13 twice on my debit card and paid $26 total for a couple of beers and I had made a few attempts to contact the manager and it's really not worth my time.
