However, it is essential to address a recent personal experience that significantly impacts this review.
Of recent, an order comprising Sicilian pizza by the slice, Pesto Mozzarella pizza by the slice, and a Gyro with fries led to an unfortunate incident. Within 15 to 30 minutes of consumption, both my colleague and I experienced severe symptoms consistent with food poisoning, including nausea, uncontrolled vomiting, etc. This was later confirmed by a visit to urgent care who attributed the symptoms of both myself and coworker to food poisoning.
While this might be an isolated incident, it underscores the critical importance of rigorous food safety standards in any dining establishment. Such experiences, albeit rare, highlight the need for consistent vigilance in food preparation and handling practices to ensure patron safety.
Considering the overall experience, including the quality of food and service, juxtaposed with the serious issue of food safety as experienced, I am compelled to rate Blue Springs Pizza 2 out of 5 stars. Read moreThis is the worst pizza experience I have ever had. We placed our order at 5:11 pm and was told we would have our delivery by 6:11 pm. Well that time came and went. I called well tried to call but was busy for 10 minutes and then when I finally got through was placed right on hold. I got into my car while on hold and started to drive to this pizza shop which is less than 10 minutes away. I got hung up on 5 different times. Called back each time and finally got to speak to to the young lady and she told me that they were just really busy and she was the only one running the phone. I told her the issues I had and she didnt seem to care at all. Well I arrived and went inside and the worst customer service was still being applied. They told me that they couldn't give a refund bc there is No Manager On Duty!! I told them they were refunding my money bc they have no communication to their customers and then the cook was blowing me off like I don't matter. Well I Myself run a pizza business and I Would Never and I mean NEVER treat my customers this way and I would inform them if their waiting was going to be longer than expected. But that's just how you deal with customers when running it correctly. Well after about 5 minutes of them refusing to give me a refund they finally called who I would assume is the owner and gave me my money back. Well I left and as I am turning on to my road low and behold the delivery guy is just pulling into my driveway. I received The Absolute Worst pizzas I have EVER HAD!!! This shouldnt even be allowed to be called pizza. Hard as a brick and no sauce and No Flavor What so Ever!!!! If you want a Real Pizza Don't Go Here!!! They are the worst pizza shop I have ever experienced in my life and they don't even care about the customers. Absolutely Horrible Pizza And Horrible Customer Service!!! Disgusting!!! Read moreHorrible experience yesterday on both customer service and food. After an hour wait I called to check on our order was told they had to re-do the wings so it would be another hour. Finally 2 hrs later our 4 orders arrive and IT WAS WRONG and disgusting the bags were ripping open from all the oil that soaked them. Called for a manager he was not there and will return shortly called 4hrs later he's still not there. Got a call back not from a manager but the same employee that told me there is nothing she can do the first call to say the manager said he'd refund us by end of day. Called to today was told manager will not be in today either and that he forgot to refund us yesterday and he will call me when he gets in and to give him time cause he's coming from Kissimmee WAIT WHAT? didn't you just say he's not coming in today? Bad enough we didn't have lunch yesterday but the manager has not at an point returned one call just as a courtesy. Not only did some of the staff not eat with also the owner. Still waiting on a refund or even a call from a manager that has no time for customers or to train his staff.
