Family Fun Town — Attraction in Orange City

My recent visit to here left me with mixed feelings. While the advertised deal for 2 hours of unlimited go-kart rides and golf seemed enticing, my overall experience was marred by the inconsistency of the staff. The major issue revolved around the lack of transparency and fairness among the staff. It was unclear how long one had to wait to ride a go-kart without no one else in line. This wait time seemed arbitrary, depending on the mood of the employee rather than the number of carts in use. My 10-year-old was told to take a break after a single go-kart ride due to hitting a cone. This action seemed arbitrary and unfair, especially, when no one else got any "penalties" for same and similar navigation mistake. In addition, the inconsistent enforcement of rules was obvious.. Despite only four carts being in use and my kids being the only ones in line, they were not allowed to ride while others were allowed to continue without disembarking, suggesting preferential treatment for certain customers. When issues were raised to the management, besides being too loud, she did not provide any assistance or resolution, leaving us with limited and unfair options. We were hoping for a better experience, however, the people working didn't represent the company on the positive note, so for us, it was a missed...

I'm torn, this is a great place being local and prices are fair. I bring my kids to the batting cages as often as I can when they don't have baseball/softball practice. I like that the cages are versatile and you can choose baseball or softball and at what speed for most of the cages. Being a small business I totally understand improvements are slow to happen. They just recently bought all new softballs for the cages which is awesome! Whenever there is a glitch or something happens when you are in the cage they are quick (as they can depending on how busy the establishment is) to remedy the problem and give out free tokens to make up for the inconvenience.

The only issue I have is the mosquitos! I bring bug spray with me and hose down the kids in the parking lot before going in. I then bring the can in with me in case someone doesn't know about this issue. Tonight I don't think the bug spray even helped. Is it possible to install some fans? Mosquitos really can't fly in more then a couple mile an hour breeze. In addition to the fans maybe sell or give bug spray away at the counter? You might already do that for all I know but I've never asked since I usually have my own.

Family Fun Town hosted our kids end of year event for an organization I am a leader for and it was an outstanding and budget-friendly experience!

I called to inquire about group rates and was directed to email the manager (owner?) directly who promptly answered my questions and booked our group. If you have 10+ kids, they offer different group rates for the various attractions they have, plus available food add ons as well.

We chose to do the one hour arcade card plus one round of golf per kid package, it was $12.00 per kid plus added on pizza and soda for everyone in our group, it was under $400 for all of our food and activities for around 35 people. You can also bring in cake or cupcakes for birthday or other parties.

The staff (can't remember their names, unfortunately but I think it was an assistant manager plus some younger kids working) was absolutely fantastic and helpful all evening, and while it wasn't the best-ever pizza, the food was fresh and served fast.

Cannot believe how easy it was to book and communicate plus how much fun our kids had and how stress free the whole experience was, we generally do something different each year but definitely wouldn't hesitate to...
