Update 2/14/2025: I'm updating my review because I was incredibly impressed during our last visit. It was dinnertime on Valentine's Day, right after seeing a comedy show. This location was the closest to us that was still open, and not entirely fast food. I was skeptical, but we went anyway. It was just my husband and myself this time, so maybe that also factored into it, but we had such a great time! We were sat almost immediately, had drinks at our table in what felt like seconds after ordering, and all of our food came out in great time. Not too fast, so that we could enjoy our appetizers, but still fast enough for it to be hot, fresh, and delicious. I lost the receipt with the name of our waitress, but she was blonde with a cute piercing on her cheek! She was so nice and the perfect level of attentive. This was our first childless date night of the year, and she helped make it wonderful! I'm all for crediting hard work and great service. Thank you for a great finish to our date night!
Original: NEVER have I ever had such a terrible experience at any of your locations before tonight. I completely understand being understaffed on a busy night. What is NOT excusable is a tone deaf waitress and the inability from ANY staff member to realize what's going on. We waited way too long just to get our drink order in, even longer to get DIPS that are supposed to come with chips, which we got way before the dips, and then to have only HALF of the entrees served and waiting over 20 mins. Only got my parents' food when I got up to ask, all while Natalie was leaned over a table and talking. This was AFTER I called out "excuse me, Natalie?", but she was too busy socializing on a busy night to even notice. It was said that they "forgot" about it, and then it came out freshly burnt. If I wasn't breastfeeding my infant, we probably wouldn't have stayed as long. But he was eating and sleeping so we gave it a shot. I have been very understanding with restaurants in the past in similar situations, but the difference is the service received. Servers who do their job make a difference. One upside is they took the forgotten meal off of our check. But even then, as a manager, he did not do a great job in smoothing things over. Half attempted apologies once it's too late don't make anyone...
Read moreI used to come to this Chili's at least once a week because I just love their food. About a year ago I found out they had gotten rid of the rewards program they had which was a big bummer because I racked up so many points by coming as frequently as I did. Because of that change I still kept coming because I love the food but instead of weekly it became more like once a month. Then the service and quality of food just started going downhill. I started getting frustrated because I always order the same 3 things so I know what comes with it and/or in it. When my order wasn't right and I would address it with the server they seemed bothered by the fact that I was asking for my order to be corrected. This caused me to stop coming except for birthdays or once in a blue moon. Well my last "once in a blue moon" trip was for a to go order. I got a cheese pizza kids meal and two of the 3 for $10 meals; one was a 6 oz. steak (medium well), rice & beans, and baked potato soup. The other was the margarita chicken with no tortilla strips, baked potato soup, and chips and salsa with an extra cup of salsa. I arrive and the server comes out to my car and drops my food off to me and goes inside. I check my order and notice the onions, shredded cheese, and bacon pieces that go in the baked potato soup are missing. Secondly the extra cup of salsa that I ordered/requested is not there. I go inside and advise the server about the missing items and she begins to mumble under her breath as she leaves to get the items. She returns and hands me everything and I leave and go home. I sit down to eat and when I cut into my steak and it was rare. Not medium well like I had asked so I was unable to eat it. The drinks had so much ice in it that it was melted by the time I got home and our teas tasted like gross water. Then they skimped on the soups because they were only about a quarter full if that. I live about 30 minutes away so I wasn't making another trip up there to get the issues fixed. Needless to say I will not eat here again no matter how much I love the food. I've given several chances and they just keep...
Read moreWe had the worst experience here ever because of the waitress and quality of the food. The Hispanic waitress that boasted that she was the "trainer" for the servers, she shouldn't be in charge of teaching anyone hospitality because she has none. She was arrogant, abrasive, rude, stuck up, full of excuses for the restaurant, know it all, loud and aggressive. We packed up our food and left immediately. She had the audacity to ask us to leave a review, here's your review sweetheart. Couldn't order a salad because they didn't have thousand island dressing, that's fine, what's not fine is her berating me because I said I had it 3 weeks ago at the Deland location and she told me I was wrong!!!! The sweet tea didn't have 1 drop of sugar in it and when I asked for one with sugar she told me I didn't know what sugar really tasted like and that she tasted it herself and I'm just used too chic fil a. It took everything in me not to lose my cool. The cheese sticks came with pizza sauce, not marinara. She fought with me about that too!!! We had a problem with every item and she argued with us and made excuses. Other patrons were annoyed with her too because we could overhear them talking about her and the looks on their faces said it all. She was hovering over people's food and pointing and being loud, disgusting behavior. You're supposed to be soft spoken, kind and want to actually get a tip. She's lucky we didn't ask for change, what a waste of $70. My husband has severe deadly allergies and they messed up his food and marinated the chicken making it completely inedible. Couldn't even complain because of our horrible waitress. Took it home and fed it to the dogs. Oh and by the way the ceiling DRIPPED all over my husband!!! His arm was soaking wet. Unacceptable. We will NEVER be...
