Please do not order from this place cause god forbid you have a coupon they will freak out .. yesterday me and my sister ordered off doordash which is what I always do from them and have no issue .. so this time we ordered an our total came out to 48$ and some change .. doordash had a promotion that’s said if you spend over 35$ then you get 7$ off your order .. not thinking this would’ve been an issue … so the order goes thru the restaurant confirmed the order and the dasher was waiting to pick the order up .. just for the dasher to get there and they tell the lady we didn’t pay enough they aren’t making the food ! Like EXCUSE ME .. the dasher called me and advised we come down there and that’s exactly what me and my sister did because my sister called and the lady told her to shut up and hung up the phone ! So once we get there she said because of the 7$ that DOORDASH offered they weren’t making the food ! What does that have to do with US call DoorDash and get your 7$ back what the heck ! So They argued with my sister and we canceled the order because you want us to pay the 7$ for something that we got from DoorDash are you crazy ! So the lady told my sister to shut up again and we knocked down they plants and left ! Idc how good your food is your crazy if you think u can treat people like this who order from you all the time ! She had the right ones today cause who you talking to ! They need to take there business off DOORDASH because they said they made a guy pay his 5$ discount in order to get his food the other day ! They are out there minds ! And rude so not order from...
Read moreDO NOT EAT HERE IF YOU HAVE ALLERGIES – THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR LIFE.
This place is an absolute disgrace. I have a severe onion allergy—as in, I could end up in the hospital if I eat them. I told them clearly, multiple times, NO ONIONS. What did they do? Instead of making a fresh plate, they went in the back, scraped the onions off, and tried to pass it off like everything was fine. Are you serious?!
That’s not just lazy—it’s life-threatening. It shows a complete lack of basic food safety knowledge and ZERO respect for the health and safety of their customers. You cannot just remove an allergen from a plate and think it’s safe. That’s called cross-contamination, and it can KILL someone like me.
And guess what? I still found onions in my food. AGAIN. This isn’t the first time this has happened at this restaurant. At this point, I truly believe they’re doing it on purpose—or they’re just too ignorant and careless to be serving food to the public.
I’m not just angry. I’m scared. Scared that someone else with allergies will eat here and end up in the ER—or worse. If you value your health, your safety, or just basic decency, STAY AWAY from this restaurant. I’m seriously considering pressing charges. Enough is enough.
Now imagine if I ate it without checking first. It may only be a small piece but my...
Read moreI have frequented this restaurant for takeout on numerous occasions and dined in about twice. Each time, I’ve consistently ordered the legume with rice and beans. Unfortunately, the quality of the food is hit or miss. One day, I savor every bite, while the next, it feels like I’m served leftovers.
On top of that, the value for the price is quite disappointing. For a so-called "large" size, the portions are extraordinarily stingy. I feel as though I’m paying a premium for a mere handful of food.
To make matters worse, if you choose to dine in, there’s an additional charge of $2 per person on top of your meal cost, which feels unfair. Yesterday marked my last visit to this Haitian restaurant. I ordered the legume along with rice and beans, and what I received was a small container of legume that was hardly filled.
To add insult to injury, there were scanty pieces of old turkey meat mixed in—just two tiny, hard bits that were unappetizing. I left the restaurant feeling utterly disappointed and regretting my choice. I refuse to waste my hard-earned money on a restaurant that is inconsistent with its food quality and charges excessive prices for such tiny portions. It's...
