Mama Lola — Restaurant in Orange

I had the pleasure to eat this food the first time when my nephew brought it home and I just knew I needed to get my own plate. So I did just that & man usually when you get your own food or snack it usually don't fast the same as the first time you had but nope it tasted the same. Chicken was flavored and just good, not over cooked, not too hard but just perfect. They also got this green sauce I want to say it's guacamole but I'm not too sure. But if you throw that green sauce with a little bit of hot sauce on the rice you won't regret it. Honestly you can also just eat the rice plain with nothing on it. That food gave me the zzz's, definitely got some melatonin in it or something. Only small criticism but not too major is the salt in the rice. I'm not big on salt but maybe both in the chicken and rice if they lighten up on the sauce it would be perfect because that little green sauce also got well I believe has some salt in it so definitely if it's possible that's the only criticism I have.

Spent a total of $19 dollars $11 for the half chicken & rice

I bought the green sauces 2 for $1 dollar best believe I got about...

the customer service is HORRIBLE!! I had been there 1 prior to this with a friend and the food was good. I placed a pick up order (they have no delivery) and I went to Pick it up the lady read my order and checked it and I paid her and left. I thought the price was a bit high at 22 dollars. when I arrived home and opened my food it wasn't my order at all. but my recipe was stuck to the bag. I called them and explained what happened and what could be done since I didn't order this meal. the lady was angry telling me I took the wrong order...I went back and once there she expected me to give her back the food she gave me...and that I had to pay her 10 more dollars on top of what I already paid to get my order (the one I ordered) I was so upset and lost my appetite I wanted a full refund since I didn't touch her food and didn't order it to begin with. she refused and left to the back. I ultimately left after waiting for 20 mins so she can return. WORST PLACE EVER!!! Do Not Go There If You Value Your Money And Time. the servers stare at you weird...no one can explain the menu and they have attitudes if you try to ask questions...the food is way over priced. never...

Three stars come from my recent bad experience. I have eaten from this restaurant a few times but after today I won't be going back. 1. the waitress forgot my order and I watched people who came in after me get their food before. At least 3 people until I finally said something to her then she rushed back to the kitchen and brung my food with beans spilling out of the container. After I paid her she dashed away and then I get my soda as the owner watched me. The owner then follows me to the front of the store to tell me i didnt pay for my soda. EXCUSE ME!! He wasnt the one who handled the transaction and he did not even have time to ask the young lady who took the money did I pay because she walked away right after I paid her. That really pissed me off and I wont be coming back. The owner decided to treat me a certain way because I had my head scarf on i guess but that does not matter. A paying customer should be treated with...
