Jeff's Inviting Food and Spirits — Restaurant in Orange

I ate here yesterday for the first time. Some colleagues and I were looking for somewhere new to eat and Jeff's seemed rather "inviting" with the favorable reviews. After the visit here are my takes:

Exterior - The restaurant is in a strip mall with various other stores and restaurants. Seeing the outside I really was not sure what to expect since it looked a little drab.

Interior - The place is kind of small; however, the restaurant is nicely decorated inside. It definitely made an inviting atmosphere and Jeff meeting us at the door and seating us was a great first impression.

Service - Our waitress was very nice and efficient. The team also worked together extremely well and added to the wonderful atmosphere.

Food - OK now the reason you go to a restaurant is definitely the food, and the food at Jeff's was top notch. The only complaint I have is that we waited quite a bit for the food; however, it was certainly worth the wait. The risotto was perfectly cooked and was full of flavor. I had the sea scallops with asparagus and sautéed mushrooms. My entrée was also perfectly cook, and if I had to pick one negative it was that it could have been seasoned just a little more. One of the other members of my table had the brussel sprouts as their side and shared with me and they were incredible as well.

All in all I will definitely be back as often as I can afford it, because the misses were small and their wins...

Wow, where do I start....first of all when you walk into the restaurant you get the most relaxing at home feeling vibe. Jeff is an excellent business owner and takes passion and pride in every dish that is served to each guest. Now to the food...incredible !! The filet minion cuts like butter! So tender, juicy and so much flavor, the sides are cooked to perfection, the mushroom risotto is to die for..absolutely the best experience of dining in since I moved here from Ohio. I highly recommend this place for date night, casual eating out and Jeff is so passionate about his restaurant, he works hard too, doesn’t just talk and wander around he is bussing tables, serving drinks, taking orders etc...my new favorite spot to eat out now. I will not be going to outback or maestros or any other place for steaks ever again. Thank you Jeff for an amazing experience and even served my girlfriend a piece of chocolate cake for...

My wife and i recently went there for dinner. The food and service were very good. A couple of days later I noticed that my bank card had 2 charges debited from Jeff's, one without the tip and one with the tip. These were not pending charges. I went to the restaurant to alert them of what had happened. I told the owner and immediately he downplayed the occurance, telling me that it happens often and that in a couple of days the bank will fix it. His words at the end were " there is nothing I can do about it", and he walked away. I felt like a fool, standing there, and walked out of the restaurant. Why would the owner of a successful restaurant treat me with such indifference and rude manner? I waited another day, and contacted my bank and reported the double charge. Very disappointed at the reception and treatment by Jeff's owner. We won't be back there ever again. Be on the lookout out for your charges from...
