Dining out with family—especially with kids—can be a challenge, but Royal Spice in Orange, CT made it absolutely effortless and enjoyable for us. We visited for their weekend buffet lunch and were immediately impressed by the warmest, most courteous welcome from the waitstaff. Their hospitality set the tone for a wonderful meal. Buffet Selections: Fresh, Flavorful, and Family-Friendly. Our waiter asked if we wanted to increase or decrease spice levels and can put in those requests through the kitchen. The buffet spread at Royal Spice is a feast. From the moment we started exploring the selections, it was clear the food was fresh and thoughtfully prepared. The variety was impressive—there truly was something for everyone, including our two kids, who can be picky eaters! Every dish was delicious and packed with vibrant flavors. Hot Buffet: Every item was hot, fresh, and flavorful. The vegetable fritter was the standout for all of us—crispy, well-seasoned, and totally addictive. Chat Buffet: Perfect for adventurous palates, with tangy, spicy, and sweet options to mix and match. Chutneys & Relishes: A rainbow of choices, each adding its own unique zing to the meal. Freshly made naan and dosa were brought right to our table. The naan was pillowy and perfect for scooping up curries, while the potato-filled dosa was a comforting treat that everyone loved. Dessert was included and provided a sweet finish to our meal. There was a nice selection, and it was the perfect way to round out our lunch. The service at Royal Spice was exceptional—attentive, polite, and genuinely welcoming. By the time we left, the restaurant was full, a testament to its well-deserved popularity. We left Royal Spice happy, full, and already looking forward to our next visit. It’s a fantastic spot for families and anyone who loves fresh, flavorful Indian cuisine. We can’t wait to come back with more family...
Read moreWonderful restaurant!! The food was delicious and very authentic; we got butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, and chicken vindaloo as well as some garlic & butter naan, and all was incredible, you can definitely tell it's cooked the traditional/tandoori style!! Service was very friendly and accommodating, they even brought some complimentary gulab jamun at the end, which we definitely weren't even expecting and were very pleasantly surprised with. The only gripe I could possibly have about our experience was that the place was a bit empty/quiet at what was a pretty normal dinner time, but not nearly so much that it could've made us uneasy, and I attribute it to this being a newer place & maybe word about it just hasn't spread completely yet, so for me it was a total non-issue. Environment was otherwise perfect, decor was beautiful and our table/seating was spotlessly clean. Prices were also reasonable & in line with what you'd expect to pay at any dine-in restaurant. Five stars, definitely give them your...
