Starbucks — Restaurant in Orange

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS (LITERALLY!! THEY ARE FRAUDULENTLY OVER CHARGING FOR THEIR DRINKS AND DON'T SAY I NEVER WARNED YOU!) I am a regular at this location, and this morning, Tues., Nov. 22nd, 2022, when I drove thru the line and ordered my usual Venti caramel macchiato and was given my total of $5.65 at the window, I proceeded to go to the pick up window and the first thing I asked the heavy set gray haired guy at the window was to confirm my drink price. He replied, "$5.65." I asked, "when did the prices go up?" He quickly replied, "3 weeks ago." Then when I showed him on my phone another location I visit on the weekends in Yorba Linda (I simulated a mobile order), the price for the exact same drink showed $5.45. Later I also simulated another mobile order in Irvine at the Los Olivos Market Place, very close to where I work, and that location also shows a price of $5.45. This is a very nice area of Irvine, by the way, nothing at all like this location at 2734 Tustin Ave., Orange. The guy at the window gives me several explanations of why THEIR price is 20 cents higher for the exact same drink: first he says, "prices went up 3 weeks ago"; then he tells me, "prices vary depending on what area of Starbucks you're at"; then he tells me, "the app hasn't updated the correct pricing yet"; then he tells me, "their location has taxes." What????? Which excuse should I believe?? I am a regular, and just earlier this week, for the exact same drink, I was charged the correct price of $5.45 for a Venti (so this location's prices didn't go up 3 weeks ago!) I proceeded to accept my drink, told him I would not be returning to this location, and as I drove away, I immediately called Starbucks Customer Service. The guy who answered patiently listened to everything I had to share w/ him. He CONFIRMED the Venti caramel macchiato price should be $5.45! I am now waiting for their District Manager to call me w/ in 24-48 hours, as the Customer Service rep sent an email to this location on my behalf, stating my complaint. I also was credited $10 back to my Starbucks card for my ordeal. I also will be writing to the BBB to also complain about this location's ILLEGAL BUSINESS PRACTICES by RIPPING OFF CUSTOMERS BY OVER CHARGING THEM! STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS...

My family came into this Starbucks during the evening with my handicap father, husband, sister, and 3 kids. 1 of my kids is ADHD and on the spectrum and the other is a 2 yo. There were 2 other customers sitting in the lobby when we arrived, both with headphones.

Apparently Grace is all knowing in this Starbucks because she asked me to take my young children outside in the cold it's the evening time because they were distributing the other guests... meanwhile those guests did not even move from their chairs the entire time we were there (maybe 15-20 min) so how would you even know they were disturbed?

My kids were being normal kids, talking and playing with each other and my family, did not go near other patrons etc.

I guess it's okay to discriminate against families with young children as this Starbucks only allows you to stay in the lobby of your silent. When did Starbucks become a library where ppl went to do work in silence?!

Filed a complaint with customer service... No response but was told would hear from district manager in 48hrs ... have a case number

Called and left a message for manager Alicia (might be spelled wrong) but it's been 4 days with no response. Apparently they do not care to hear about the discrimination of their employees against families, mothers, and children with...

Highly Recommend this location. Staff is extremely competent, tolerant, & Funny! Whether dine in or drive thru service is always positive & orders correct 💯! Location is rather awesome. Epic patio and lots of shade. Large location as well. New & architecture is original and unique...very contemporary w/ rustic vibe. Smartly tucked in tree filled corner of Nohl Canyon shopping center on corner of East Tustin and Nohl Ranch Road/Lincoln...by 76 station below by VONs & Bank of America. This Starbucks has a speedy drive thru & very large dedicated & shared parking lot. Handicap spots upfront and lots of ADA compliance thru-out.

Prefer this spot near Tustin-Lincoln/NohlRanch fore many reasons. Logistically it is near both the 55 & the 91 freeways across street. Gas station, fast food, & a Vons in center jic You need 2 run sum errands or add a designated "rest stop" for Ur personal travels. Again the Very friendly & sincere Customer Service is memorable. Restrooms for customers & entire facility well maintained inside and out. Coffee is defly above par at this Starbucks & the food is either just yummy or healthy & yummy...
