KAI Sushi & Roll is a true gem in the over saturated OC market. I found this place in a random search for close, authentic sushi and I was not dissappointed. Their rolls are perfectly proportioned with any ingredient that's inserted exemplifying the fullest flavor of every bite. However, where KAI Sushi & Roll really excels is with their sushi. The chef cuts the pieces so well that you can feel the full texture of the fish and taste the clean full bodied flavor of it, too. Put that on top of some of the best sticky rice I've ever had and you have something that is absolutely divine. The attention to the plating is testament to that fact...it's beautiful. If you are a sushi consesieur, try their 8-piece deluxe sushi combo with the spicy tuna roll and you will not be disappointed. In the mood for a "fast food" roll? Get the Las Vegas. I was extremely disappointed with the service during my recent visit. I’ve been a regular customer, but this experience made me feel like I didn’t belong in the restaurant. I began placing my order, but the waitress—who I believe is also the owner—walked away in the middle of it without explanation, which I found strange and disrespectful.

When she returned, she simply brought water and never once asked if I wanted wasabi, anything to drink, or any extras. Her attitude felt cold, dismissive, and standoffish, despite the fact that I was polite and pleasant throughout the interaction. It truly felt like she didn’t want me there.

I searched up Sushi when I was driving through Orange and this popped up. The restaurant is small but cozy. There are only about 5 tables of 2. There were 2 workers, the chef and front of the house, the FOH was ver nice. We arrived on a Saturday around 1, we were sat right away. There was 1 other patron eating. There were phone orders while were there and a group of 3 came in. The poor FOH was very busy, she was literally running around to keep up. We waited about 10 min for our food.
