Mr Hibachi Steak House — Restaurant in Orangeburg

Ive been coming here for years and never had not one complaint. Today I did. I made them aware that my food wasnt cooked right. Red spicy sauce was placed all over my rice and it was never how my spicy shrimp fried rice was cooked. I pulled around back to the window and I told the woman at the window. She acts like I did something wrong by saying my food wasnt right. It was just the demeanor. She called the lady who I guess is part owner or family member of the establishment. She proceeded to ask if Im sure I ordered from the right place. I said I been coming here for years! I been eating here since the been in the old building. I said ma'am, I order thus all the time. Anyways they told me to pull around, they remade it and then both the lady who was at the window and the part owner lady came out to my car. They were rude as Idk what They both talking about well we never seen you before so maybe you been ordering somewhere else. I said ladies, yall think Im slow. You wanna see all these receipts on my bank statement because I got receipts. I had already told her I bever paid 24 dollars for my food it was always between 18 bucks to 21 bucks but that didnt even matter to me because I paid it. It was the fact that my food was smothered with some red hot sauce on top. It was not what I usually have. So they both waited for me to taste it the second time. I already knew it wasnt right because this time the rice was red. I tasted it and I said no its not right. Its okay can you just forget the spicy fried rice. So they went back in and supposedly remade it for me. This time when the lady who was working the window came back with the food, I opened it i looked at it and thought like omg. So she just stood there looking at me talking about no taste it so you can let us know if its right. I said okay that I will do but honestly its horrible. They had done cooked the shrimp till some of them was overcooked and dry with a few thrown across the top that wasn't cooked enough. So when I said it was horrible, she walks back toward the restaurant and then turnt around and looked at me and said well you dont gotta order here again. I looked at that lady who by the way looks just like me and said I will definitely come back and order because who are you to tell me not to come back to an establishment that you definitely dont even own. You dont own this place. You just work here. This lady really had a attitude because the ONE time after over 10 years that Ive order heer that it wasnt right and I spoke up about it? I was so hurt and disappointed. Its the fact that I been a loyal customer to this place for over a decade and she had the audacity to talk to me like that. I thought about all the times I spent my money here so I got out to go speak to the family member/owner of the restaurant and asked when Josh come in because i just wanted to talk about my experience today. She jumped towards me and started yelling at me and the lady from the window proceeded to place her arm around her as if she was holding her back. I was shocked. Like was she about to jump on me or get in my face? I was confused. All I want to say is so many times we come to these establishment and spend or money with them for YEARs and its never a problem but soon as you have ONE issue with something you spent your money on, things change. They not so supportive then and get upset if you ask if they can fix the issue. I really enjoy eating here but jumping at me is crazy. True colors came out and I just had to leave this review because I want the world to know. Im actually hurt about the whole experience because so many times I ordered here and went on social media and posted how great the food was. Promoted a business just because Im a positive person and dont acknowledging great experiences. Hopefully anyone reading this never have an experience like this at any...

🫤 Meh So So ………stopped by as passing through Orangeburg. Its was edible but kinda disappointed. Ordered 🐔 wings and I must say……they should call them 🐣 wings as they were the smallest wings I ever had. Tasty but for over a $1 each, disappointing. Anyway all three of us ordered steak dinners Hibachi and bowls. All steak 🥩 was overcooked as we all ordered medium rare. It was tasty tho that’s why they got 3 ⭐️s. Rice portion was enormous, but no flavor or salt, just colored 🍚. Hopefully they had a bad day, I would try the hibachi again and tell them not to cook it to death ☠️. Anyway best of luck ☘️ to you! Y'all need to get better staff at the front. This is the third time I called with the same order and when I arrive it's not right. Who do the girls at the front blame?....the customer. Stating "it's not my fault people change orders". I didn't change what I ordered, you didn't put my order in right. Then, when I clearly say FACE TO FACE...NO RICE !!! you tell me " Yeah she knows" But, you told her no veggies and my food came back wrong again.
