Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Orangeburg

If I could give ZERO stars, I would! My 3 year old daughter and I were visiting a friend in Orangeburg on Sunday. We were staying at the Baymont Inn and Suites on St Matthews (5 stars) which is about a 5 minute drive from Pizza Hut. I placed our order a little after 10:00 pm and was quoted 40 min. I tried to immediately call back just to add on a soda and the phone just rang and rang. I waited on hold for 10 min so I decided to hang up and try again. Called back, again! On hold for 18 minutes, no answer. I called back 3 more times, now just fuming mad because I'm sure that the employees working are certainly just ignoring my calls because they close at 11:00. I started reading similar problems and complaints in their reviews. Most claimed the same thing I was now experiencing. Long wait times, no answer. Finally about 11:15, I got my little girl dressed and drove to pick up Taco Bell for myself and McDonalds for her. Got back to our room and got settled back in. Low and behold, here was Pizza Hut knocking on our door, almost 50 minutes late! What??? I answered the door and explained to the delivery driver that I had tried to call the store for almost an hour on multiple occasions, just to simply add on a soda, and my calls were ignored on top of my late food, I told him I was sorry but I no longer needed my more than likely cold pizza. He apologized, and completely understood. My only problem is the fact that there were so many other complaints with the same story! How do the responsible parties still have the opportunity to continue to waste people's time and money and still have a job? I work in this industry and would definitely be S.O.L if I were to treat any patron like this! I'm still in shock over it! Hopefully with this review, their management will address these apparent reacurring problems! I'm not saying don't order...Just don't be surprised when you find yourself waiting on a pizza that might not even show...

Former employee 20 years ago and have spent over thousands of dollars with pizza hut and I've had it with what just took place. Placed order of $78, order was said to be ready at 4:05 for curbside pickup. My lady and 2 month old child who is fussing arrive at 4:10. I'm texted she's there I try numerous times to hit the I'm here button in the email and it would not work. Called the store number, the automated machine says the order is ready. Waited until 4:30 called and hit change order to be able to get an answer. Let them know that she was out there for some time which wasn't needed you can clearly see the vehicle in the spot needed for pickup which was described as asked online for what vehicle would be picking up the order, add to that the girl brought a couple of orders out during this time to other customers and was clearly seen looking our vehicle. Was told we didn't notify them we were out there. I tried it wouldn't let me. The girl told me ok I'll bring it out. 15 mins later of being on the phone with my lady and seeing what's going on she said the girl is at the door just standing there opening the door for people coming in and out. My lady who is dealing with a crying baby goes inside, our food is sitting on the counter and was asked if she wanted them to bring it out to her. YOU HAVE LOST...

2 months ago, I gave them a great review. This location is so hit or miss, I had to edit this review. I'm really pissed and didn't have the energy to go back in there and even worry about it this time of night because my kids need to eat. On my order, I said large stuff crust pizza, half pep, extra cheese. On the special directions it said - Not Overcooked, light topping. I usually wait to get there to pay so I can see the pizza, but since we was in a rush and because it was good the last time, I took a chance. I messed up doing that because the pizza did not have extra cheese- that cost extra- the "stuffed crust" pizza bread was stretched so thin, and the crust was hard, not enjoyable at all! I'm not sure If this was an old pizza or what, or the dough was old, idk I just know its awful. It was super hard, I mean hard to chew. I really wasted my time and money. Very disappointed. I Won't be coming back at all!!!! I'll rather spend more and go to Domino's. Luckily tonight, I got my kids breadsticks from Domino's and they were good, otherwise we would have been stuck...
