I have always went here & loved this place, but after tonight.. I will never be returning. My friend & I really wanted some ice cream & saw that dairy depot was still open so we got there 30 minutes before they closed. When we walked up to the window we waited a few minutes to be served then when the girl opened the window she said, “what do you want” my friend & I said we needed a minute to look at the menu. With the window OPEN still, the two girls said, “I hope they know we close in 20 minutes so they better hurry up”. They were laughing & just being rude. So I hurried up & ordered a sundae, the one girl took my card and I said to my friend “I hope they know we can hear them talking about us” they must have heard this because then the other girl slammed the window shut & I believe they then proceeded to talk about us MORE. She brought my card back out & then my friend ordered a sundae as well & the girl took her card. I saw the one girl start to make the sundaes, but we didn’t get them for another 5-10 minutes. Once they handed us are ice cream.. we were both in shock to see them completely melted & the whipped cream on the top looked nothing like it should. I wish I could post a picture of what the ice cream looked like on here. I told my friend I refused to eat it because I thought they might’ve done something to it too. My friend then asked if she could get her card back & the girl threw it out the window at her & slammer the window shut. My friend & I were just in complete disgust at how rude these two girls were to us when there was no reason to be. It was probably the worst customer service I...
Read moreI’ve always loved dairy depot but after the service we received last night, I will not be returning. We got there around 10:30 which is still a whole 30 minutes before they closed and they watched us standing there for over 5 minutes before even saying anything to us. Mind you there was no one else there except for people who had already been served and sitting in the parking lot. Then she opened the window and said “what do you want” and while leaving the window open they said I hope they know we close in 20 minutes. It took them almost 10 minutes to finally give us the sundaes and it was all completely melted including the whipped cream and she didn’t even give me my card back until I asked her about it and then she rudely threw it and slammed the window on my friend and I’s faces. Truly disgusted with the service we had and all the manager had to say was “I will...
Read moreDO NOT EAT HERE IF YOU HAVE ANY ALLERGY TO NUTS OR PEANUTS. My family and I made a visit last night because we didn't want to make the drive to Mel-O-Creme in Millbury. I ordered an Oreo cyclone, and it was full of peanut chunks. I am not allergic to peanuts, but I have a sensitivity, and I was left with throat burning and stomach cramps all night. I was only able to eat half of my cyclone before I had to discard it.
My brother ordered a chocolate cone in a cup, and he said the ice cream tasted cheap and the cone was practically inedible. This was a good reminder of why we haven't been to Dairy Depot in years. Sadly, we live in Oregon, but considering the nearly half hour wait on drive-through ice cream at Dairy Depot, Mel-O-Creme in Millbury is well...
