Edie's Ice Cream — Restaurant in Oregon

I've been visiting this location for many year's and have received some very decent service. However this year 2025 I've visited this location 3 times in the past 3 weeks, I ordered the same thing each visit, 2 out 3 times the service has been horrible!!! Rudeness, attitudes and just down right disrespectful. I treat people the way I wanted to be treated and if someone has messed up your day while working in the customer service environment, then maybe you need to clock out for the day and let someone else who may need your job work. I give great tips based off the service I receive which is why I kept coming back. Today is my absolute last day that I will ever spend my money at this location.

My daughter, her mom, and I chose to go there last night. I had a Buckeye sundae. No complaints about that. However, my daughters mom had what looked like one of the smallest banana splits we've ever seen. But the worst was my daughters order. She got a waffle cone with vanilla ice cream and sprinkles. First, they didn't put much ice cream in it. It didn't even come to the top edge of the cone. It was as if they were running low or something. Then, what I thought was a layer of chocolate around it turned out to just be burnt cone. She didn't enjoy it at all. And you'd think because I tipped pretty good before the first item was even made, they would at least try to give some customer satisfaction. They were not rude, but far from friendly or welcoming. I was excited to try this place, because I had heard good things. The ice cream is pretty good, the establishment was overall clean, and the staff was attentive. My biggest problem was that they do not wear hair nets or gloves. They put hot dogs on the grill with their hands, pulled out a brownie for a sundae with their hands, and more. I saw the cashier handling money and food, but I cannot say for sure if he washed his hands in between. The thought of anybody not using hair nets or gloves is just gross to me. While I did like the ice cream I couldn't enjoy it because I kept thinking about if their hands were dirty, or if their was hair or lashes in my ice cream.
