Preface: I wanted to check this place out for lunch with my friend.
Product and Service: 5/5 Although your first impression when you walk in would be that it's your typical teriyaki store, the food quality is easily matched as a high quality sit down restaurant. They have consistently provided me great portion sizes. I always order #16 with extra veggies and the chicken is tender while having a slight char for flavor. The food isn't overly greasy as well.
Value: 5/5 With enormous portion sizes for ~10 and amazing quality, this is my goto place for lunch. If they were to charge $15 per order, I would still go (but the value would drop for me at that price point).
Timeliness: 5/5 Never have I seen this place empty and they have orders left and right. Despite that, they are still quite timely. Today, I was fourth in line and it only took 10 minutes for me to get mine.
Customer Service: 5/5 Rodger alone makes this place welcoming to everyone. He's timely and efficient. Even behind the mask, you can tell he's smiling.
Presentation: 4/5 Food is presented well in the typical goto teriyaki containers. The visual of the location is nothing special. It's not pristine but I suppose it doesn't need to be as it's not really a sit down restaurant.
Overall: 5/5 I'll definitely return here in the future! You'll be paying $8-$12 per plate and, as a big eater, I definitely feel full after a single order. If you don't eat much, you can eat half and save the rest for later. Rodger has been amazing every time and I look forward to trying something new next time I stop...
Read moreMost of these other reviews are OLD! Recently, the have started to severely cut back on amounts of chicken and rice. The chicken is now filled with fat and grit most the time. They now charge for any extra sauce you want on your rice, even if it is a tiny bit. Normally they would just take the amount they put on the chicken and spread it out onto the rice but that's now not possible! Now a tiny ketchup container of their sauce is 90 cents! They use this to push you to buy their expensive bottles of sauce to add to the food you buy from them. What a stupid idea, short you sauce and try to upsell you to buy a bottle of their sauce to suppliment it! The food is already expensive for its quality and quantity, I am NOT buying a bottle of sauce because they're too skimpy on it.
Sad, this place used to be a 5/5! I now withdraw my 5 star rating from a...
Read moreI went in last night to get something bland for my husband who was just transported to the hospital across the street. The server suggested plain white rice instead of yakisoba and then politely asked if my husband was alright. I told him it had been a long day & that his procedure was suppose to have been simple, but they had to admit him. He asked if he could throw some chicken in at no charge. I assumed, because they were closing in the next 10 min, that he had some leftover chicken he was looking to get rid of, but he went and talked to his chef, who pulled out fresh pieces and grilled them. Thank you for taking that moment to reach out with such kindness! You have no idea what a difference you made. (PS: I tasted the chicken and it was...
