I have no idea what is going on with this location- I've seen recent reviews that are so bad and after my little visit today I understand why. Their phone number wasn't working so I drove here in hopes that they we're still serving something that was on the menu previously. There were three women working. One of the women standing in front of the register putting on lotion. When I went to ask her a quick yes or no question I politely said excuse me to which she responded "oh, yeah? Actually I'm not clicked in so". I was very much caught off guard seeing as how she was full wearing a work apron and standing in front of the register for some time. I had to wait an additional 10 minutes at the bar waiting for anyone to acknowledge that I was there. Weirdly she continued to stand there in front of the register, doing lotion and drinking her water. She later came back and said sorry, that she was really confused when I came up to her, but now that she's clocked on, she can help me. The item in question is no longer on the menu so I ended up waiting all of that time for nothing and a incredibly odd interaction. And what world does someone who is not working while wearing part of a work uniform and stands in front of the register that is in the middle of the room in front of everyone doesn't not look like you are working? Regardless, how is it? You cannot answer a quick question? The order I was going to get would have been to go so I would not have taken their time regardless. Would be less inclined to come back after reading some of distasteful reviews, but especially after something ridiculous like that........
Read moreWent here Saturday 9/19/20. The most unfriendly, mean spirited waitress was “helping” us. She was bothered by us from the moment we came in.
I was with my adult son and awaiting two more family members to arrive. We ordered a basket of tots and two beers. Which somehow she managed to screw up and was irritated with us for asking her to correct the order.
I had a full beer and a half basket of tots when this absolutely absurd and unprofessional employee/waitress asked if the rest of “them” would be here anytime soon.
When I asked if we were bothering her by eating and drinking while we wait she said “well, I do have a wait list”. Literally a full drink and half basket of tots while we wait to order the rest of our meals? We had been there about 20 min.
Her rude attitude, lack of kindness (or even just to pretend she cares about her job) and unprofessionalism was so offensive but the audacity to hurry us along at that point of our visit..I didn’t drink my beer or eat our tots. Got the check and left.
Not only will we NEVER go back but, I will tell every person I know in Clackamas/HV never to visit this restaurant. All because of one nasty employee who has no manners and no professionalism. Who in their right mind asks a customer if they’re almost done when they haven’t even had a drink of the beer she just sat in front of them? Not to mention, had we actually been allowed to eat dinner here, our check would’ve been $95-$100 plus a tip. Seems to warrant 45 minutes at a booth.
I wouldn’t even give it one star, if I...
Read moreFood prices across all their locations lately are outrageous. A large side of fries costs 15$ with a side of ranch. It's not an entree? Most entrees here are now 18-24$ for chicken strips or fish and chips (fried pub food). It's 17$ for a cesaer salad w/no protein. They are more pricey than stanfords or lake Oswego grille down the road where you can get nicer entrees for this price and mcmenamins serves bar style pub food. Drink prices are also way more costly with no liquor. I never drink but when I do I usually feel one. Not a drop of alcohol in their cocktails I swear. Been avid passport goers and noticed this insane uptick lately, which is why we haven't been coming in as often really and when we do it's just for the stamp mainly. Hopefully this reaches someone who can verify and price check most restaurants in the area. These are not pub food prices. You can go to other upscale restaurants in the area for way better food and drinks like De Fuego, Stanfords, Lake Oswego Grille for around this pricing. The McMenamins Bend Hotel wanted 48$ for a 16 in. single family pizza. The couple behind us complained about pricing and were told that's normal as portland is know for having the best pizza and more expensive pizzas. The staff can't even explain why the hike in pricing is what it is...
