Portland's "Three Thousand Cups of Tea" – Artificial-Flavored Tea

i went in today unsure of what this was but i left knowing i would be back eventually. when i first came in, it was a little overwhelming, the smell of tea and pastries and the wall of glass jars. as i entered i was immediately greeted but susie, who i assume is the owner. she walked us through the menu, how the store functioned, and what everything was. she recommended the tea flight, where you got to sample 5 different kinds of tea (one of thier choice and 4 of yours). they gave you a tea catalog which explains all the tea they have plus a basket of samples where you got to smell all the kinds of tea. you can see in my pictures what we chose. after you choose from their very large selection, they brew it fresh for you while you sit and chat or work on your laptop and bring you small samples of each tea you chose. personally my favorite was the meadowlark mint (a white tea) and the darjeeling (a black tea) while my partner loved the golden monkey (a black tea) and the pomegranate (an herbal tea). i was also able to buy loose leaf tea by the ounce. the cheapest of the teas being $5 an ounce and thier most expensive being the sakura sencha at $23 an ounce though most range from $5-$10 an ounce. the one you see in the picture is an oolong tea for $7 per ounce. in the end i interested with three staff members, all of which were pleasant and friendly and helpful. this place is amazing and somewhere i would love to come back to when i have more funds to try a little bit of everything. thank you for the amazing tea!

I'm a huge fan of this shop! The wall of tea is a delight for the senses and the staff are always so knowledgeable and helpful about selecting the perfect brew. I appreciate the intention and thought that goes into the seasonal offerings and tea flights. And they never judge me on my abuse of sweetener! Lol. It is also a wonderful place to meet for a 1x1 or gather for intimate events with friends - the shop is inviting and cozy and there are often tarot workshops or tea leaf reading or other community events hosted after-hours! And, I happen to know that they can ship their delicious loose leaf tea and other gifts, if you're not local to the area. I highly recommend the tea, and the space!

Upon entering this charming tea emporium, one is immediately transported to a world reminiscent of Teavana, with its vast selection of teas and an ambiance that exudes tranquility. The knowledgeable staff are always on hand, eager to share their expertise and guide you through the extensive variety of teas, ensuring you find the perfect blend to suit your palate. As a tea enthusiast, I find myself drawn to their exquisite Darjeeling tea, the aromatic Green Jasmine tea, the robust Oolong, and the earthy Pu-erh. Each visit presents an opportunity to explore these flavors more deeply, and sometimes, I indulge in purchasing a selection to craft my unique tea blends at home. The store also offers a delightful range of tea accessories and pots, which, along with their beautifully curated gift baskets, make for thoughtful and elegant gifts for family and friends. These thoughtful touches elevate the tea-drinking experience, making it not just a purchase but a journey into the art of tea. The cozy and warm atmosphere of the place invites you to linger, whether you’re grabbing a cup of tea to go or settling in for a relaxing break. It’s a haven where one can unwind, sip on a carefully brewed cup, and bask in the serene environment. In essence, this haven is not just a store; it’s a sanctuary for tea lovers. It’s a place where the love for tea is palpable, the service is heartfelt, and every visit feels like a retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life. I look forward to many more visits, supporting this local gem and continuing to explore the wonderful world of...

What a thoroughly enjoyable experience! I highly recommend a visit to this unique tea house in Clackamas, OR. The store is located in a nondescript strip mall off Sunnyside Road, but what a treat it is once you step inside. You are quickly greeted by the staff, and on this particular day we were privileged to meet with Susie, the store proprietor.

There are well over a hundred different varieties of teas from which to choose, all tastefully displayed behind the counter and arranged by types of tea. There are pure teas, blended teas, herbal and fragrant teas, and any of them can be prepared either hot or cold. Susie insists that all teas are steeped in water that is the right temperature (NOT BOILING!) and for the correct length of time before offering them to patrons. She is extremely knowledgeable of each of the teas and potential health benefits associated with them.

You must include a scone as part of your order. I sampled a blueberry scone and it was light, and delicate, and fluffy, as opposed to many of the dense ones I have at numerous other locations.

The store itself is warm and inviting and laid out in a simple, yet elegant manner. I even recommend a visit to the bathrooms (not something I usually include in my reviews) to see how tastefully they...
