I got my Minute Maid and I'm absolutely no longer thirsty, which was the initial reason for ordering. However, I felt it would be brashly inappropriate to just order a drink, so I decided to try the stuffed cheesy bread and the sweet mango habanero sauce. Upon my first bite of said cheesy bread dipped in said sauce, it was sweet, like the first time Steph and I held hands, but then that familiar warm spice began to kick in, reminiscent of hot days longboarding with the then love of my life. Each bite was like a reunion with the girl I loved, like seeing Steph at the airport, or arriving in her car, after a month of being away from her, all those familiar senses coming back. Then I got to the actual cheesy part of the bread. How filling and sustaining the cheese is, and such a gratifying smooth and creamy flavor, like the support that Steph gave me and the problems she helped me through, surely this cheese will similarly sustain my body in its needs with building and repairing tissues. Even the slightly burnt cheese bits on the sides (natural with such an order) were delicious and added a contrasting flavor, like the few flaws the Steph had, her mistakes and faults, it didn't push me away from her, she's human and prone to them, but what was important was how she worked through them and how she learned from them, which in turn added to her deep personality. And there was so much! So much cheesy bread, it took a long time to eat, like the four long years Steph and I knew each other. But then, just like my relationship with Steph, the cheesy bread had to come to an end. I finished the last bite, which felt like the last time I ever looked in her eyes and told her I loved her, and both of us knew then that it may end. And it did, just like the cheesy bread. I was devastated, heartbroken. She found somebody else, and the cheesy bread was entirely consumed. As she moved on and got married, I was left in the dark, alone, and yet, somehow full... after some time thinking, a lot of terrible heart ache, and talking with my friends, I realized that even though she's gone, it was so enriching and fulfilling, and she's become a permanent part of my life, and I'm thankful for that. The cheesy bread is gone, but my stomach is full and satisfied. My mouth may be lonely on both fronts; no cheesy bread on my tongue, no Honduran beauty on my lips, but I'll be okay. I'm okay alone and not eating right now; I have so many things to experience on my own. And I'm ready for it. Thank you, Steph. Thank...
Read moreI ordered a large hand-tossed ham and pineapple pizza, a Philly cheesesteak sandwich, 6 chocolate lava crunch cakes, loaded tots, and parmesian bites. I have always loved Domino's, so having to give this experience 4 stars was unfortunate for me. To start with rating the food quality: Large Pizza - cooked as expected, I didn't have any complaints. I absolutely love Dominos garlic butter they put on their crust! Best pizza chain by far, in my opinion! Philly cheesesteak sandwich - Was disappointed all around. The bread was quite hard, the mushrooms weren't cut up very well, vegetables weren't fully cooked, and finally, it had little meat and cheese. For the price quite a let down! Lava crunch cakes - They were quite rich with chocolate, and the insides were nice and melted as they looked on TV! Overall, if you are craving a very chocolaty desert, I would recommend the lava cakes! Loaded Tots - Huge disappointment I had never tried these until this time and regretted it! The cheese was so black and burned all around the edges that it was practically inedible. I can not recommend the tots based on my experience at this store. Parmesian bites - I have had these in the past they are bread bites brushed in garlic butter and shredded parmesian. The bites were made perfect to expectation!
Service: I placed my order online for pickup at the store with instructions to be delivered to my vehicle. The estimated wait was 10-15 minutes before it should be ready. It did take exactly the full 15 minutes, plus the employee is supposed to have it out in 2 minutes or less once it's marked done on the app. I didn't really mind the wait because my order wasn't exactly small, but it did take about another 3 minutes after the food said it was ready to be brought out to my vehicle not the promised 2 minutes. Given the circumstances, I didn't feel this was deserving of taking away a star from service. I hope that my highly detailed review helps you to form a more educated decision in the future! Read moreWe have used this Domino's dozens and dozens of times. This will certainly be the last. I appreciate in giving people the benefit of the doubt because serving in the food industry can totally absolutely suck. However, you can choose to make it totally suck or just be a decent human being and it won't suck so bad ¯( ツ)/¯
My husband and I ordered through the mobile app and used a coupon. This coupon is a great deal and I'm sure they are very busy. So when we received our order wrong, we called to discuss and waited on the phone for over 10 minutes before I decided I should probably just go in because I'm sure they're slammed and it's just down the street.
I walk in with pizza in hand and the employees are standing around, talking and folding boxes that are already folded to the ceiling. Literally. Standing there folding boxes has to be the most unproductive thing right now. That was pretty irritating to see.
I walk up to the counter and said, "that's probably my husband still on hold.." An employee turns around and if he had a tail, it was so far between his legs because everyone can hear the phone beeping because someone is sitting on hold and they didn't care.
I'm told that the pizza was going to take 20 minutes to an hour so we were offered either a credit on the account or wait for it to be free. We just wanted our money back. We didn't want to wait any more. The doggo employee seemed a bit lost and unsure how to handle an irate situation so he said he'd grab the manager.
The manager walks right past us and out the door like he just quit. We were both confused so I sat down and waited. He walks in and says "uh only a GM can issue refunds." For how long all of this took.. to just tell me a GM can only refund my money is ridiculous.
I'm not sure if that's actually true, if those front of the house employees don't have the access to issue refunds but for someone who had to deliver BACK their pizza, kind of sucks. With proper documentation of the incident, I'm not sure why that access couldn't be given to the 'next best'...
