Absolutely blown away! Guroott isn't just a restaurant, it's a culinary revelation! From the moment we stepped in, we were treated like cherished family, and the experience only soared from there. This is, without a doubt, a five-star++ authentic Korean gem that has instantly become my new obsession!

We embarked on our flavor journey with the Mandu, and OH MY! These weren't just dumplings; they were little pockets of pure joy – unbelievably fresh, bursting with savory goodness, and fried to such a perfect, delicate crispiness. It was the perfect overture to an incredible meal.

Next, we dove into the Pajeon with spicy kimchi and shrimp. Prepare yourselves, because this dish is a masterpiece! We initially thought of it as an appetizer to share, but honestly, I could devour this as a main course any day. The richness and depth of flavor were simply astounding. The texture was a perfect dance between crispy edges and a delightfully chewy interior, and the blend of spicy kimchi and succulent shrimp was a symphony in my mouth. Incredible is an understatement!

Just when we thought it couldn't get any better, the Japchae arrived. The beef? Exquisite doesn't even begin to cover it – tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. And the noodles? Sheer perfection! This is another versatile champion, easily a satisfying entree or a generous appetizer for the whole table to fight over (nicely, of course!).

Then came the Bulgogi portion of our feast, and Guroott continued to astound. The medium pork bulgogi was a delight – it had this wonderful, invigorating spice that danced on the palate without ever becoming overwhelming. It was warmth and flavor in perfect harmony. But the BEEF BULGOGI... oh, the beef bulgogi! This was the undeniable megastar of the show! The texture was sublime, the flavor was a complex tapestry of savory, sweet, and umami notes, and the mouthfeel was simply divine. I'm still dreaming about it!

And the service! It wasn't just good, it was top-notch, gold-standard, make-you-feel-like-royalty service! Every single person we interacted with was so genuinely kind, attentive, and warm. It felt less like dining out and more like being welcomed into a loving home. Guroott is a treasure. The authenticity shines through in every perfectly crafted dish. The chef? A true artist, a culinary visionary with a gift for creating unforgettable flavors.

I am already counting down the seconds until I can return, and I absolutely cannot WAIT to see the incredible heights this chef and restaurant will undoubtedly reach. If you're looking for an unparalleled Korean dining experience that will leave you ecstatic, look no further than Guroott. Run, don't walk! You NEED this...

This place is an absolute hidden treasure of Korean comfort food, and I'm officially hooked. Their tteokbokki? Honestly, the best I’ve ever had, and I find myself daydreaming about it. We always go for the creamy add on and the combo—rice balls and mandu are the perfect bonus to dip into the creamy sauce.

Every dish we've tried has been extraordinary, and it's clear that everything is made with such care, love, and attention to detail. The regular sundoobu with pork or beef (soft tofu stew) is another standout—it’s something I never thought I would love, but I do, and I can never pick a favorite between it and the tteokbokki... so naturally, I order both. My husband loves the Kimchi Jiigae and we've also ordered the Kimchi Jeon, Beef Bulgogi, Pork Bulgogi, Pork Japchae, and Beef Japchae and have enjoyed all of them.

What makes the experience feel even more special is the banchan—those little side dishes served with every meal. And just when you think the meal couldn't get better, they bring out a cup of ginger date tea. It's an unexpected treat that is the perfect final touch.

Guroott doesn’t just serve amazing food. They create an experience that’s comforting, generous, and full of heart. Everything is...

Authentic, Flavorful, and Run by the Warmest Family.

This family-owned restaurant deserves all the praise. As a regular patron, I’ve come to know the wonderful family who runs this little kiosk, and they always recognize me by face**—a testament to their genuine hospitality.

They are welcoming, personable, accommodating, and informative—everything you’d want in a dining experience. Their food? Absolutely flavorful and affordable.

Being Asian myself, I’m quite picky about food quality—and this place consistently delivers authentic, well-crafted dishes.

I often dine alone, so wait times are never an issue, but if you’re coming with a large party, be patient—this isn’t fast food. Every menu item is carefully handmade, and seating is first-come, first-served. If a table isn’t available, simply wait for one to open up.

A little-known fact: they’re closed on Mondays, but for good reason. Mondays are their prep days, when they meticulously prepare fresh ingredients for the week ahead. That level of dedication speaks volumes.

If you’re looking for authentic flavors, warm hospitality, and a meal made with care, this place is absolutely worth a visit. I truly wish this business a...

I highly recommend checking out Guroott if you're looking for Korean food. It's a local restaurant located in the Orem Asian market! Food: I've tried the beef bulgogi, pork bulgogi, seafood sundubu, and yukgaejang. My favorites are the pork bulgogi and seafood sundubu. All the dishes are made fresh to order, and the quality of the meats is excellent. Next time, I’ll consider getting the extra spicy pork bulgogi so that it has some kick to it. Dine In: I suggest dining in to fully experience the meal. With Korean side dishes and freshly prepared food it's best enjoyed there. Plus, the server makes sure that your meal is delicious and was very sweet and funny. Service: 10/10! The server is incredibly attentive and friendly. It’s one of the best service experiences I've had. He’ll make sure you have everything you need and will check in on you throughout your meal.
