I recently came to Bellagio Nail. I had been before had a nice experience, so I decided to try again. I made an appointment and when I walked in there were only two male techs in the salon. Obviously there’s nothing inherently wrong with that, but as a woman this was a little unnerving. I told them my name and they directed me to a table. My tech, Justin, spoke maybe twice during the entire time I was there. I don’t even think we made eye contact. He took off my previous nail polish and as it was setting, proceeded to go on his phone in front of me. He opened the Tik Tok app and began scrolling. I thought to myself “that’s a little rude but at least the volume is off.” But, I spoke too soon. He proceeded to click his volume up very high and continued to scroll. He was laughing and singing while I just sat there in complete silence. Mind you, there’s no one else in the salon and none of the TVs were on. Many of the videos contained vulgar language. I don’t mind swearing but I don’t want to hear it coming from my nail tech’s phone while getting my nails done. Eventually he went back to doing my nails. Another girl came into the salon and the other tech began working on her nails — I couldn’t help but wish I had him as my tech. I could hear him asking what her name was, what she wanted, how her day was, making jokes. He seemed incredibly friendly and professional. While all of this was happening my nail tech, Justin, was using the metal tools to remove the remnants of my polish. These tools burnt my fingers so badly that on multiple occasions I reflexively removed my hand from his. All he could say was “is it hot?” When I replied yes, he didn’t say anything and just kept going. I was wincing in pain as he did each finger. He later cut the underside of my finger with a different tool. Again, I said “ow” and he didn’t even flinch. He showed a complete lack of care and seemed annoyed that I was even in pain. A truly terrible experience. When I got home, I filed a complaint through their website asking for a refund and never heard back. Oh and to top it all off they charged me way more than the prices listed on...
Read moreBellagio Nail had such a high rating I didn’t read the reviews but I wish I had, I agree with some of the negative reviews that have been posted. At first I thought they were really great, they were able to seat us very quickly as walk ins. The pedis were great- for me. She did an excellent job and it was everything I expected. But for my sister in law, who was getting married, it was less so. They had three techs but I guess there was a fourth who was extremely late. She sat in the water for a long time before the third tech started working on her then switched when the fourth finally showed up. He then proceeded to give her gel French tips when she asked for polish- multiple times. Her mani didn’t go much better. It wasn’t what she was expecting but the tech misinterpreted her tears to have to do with her wedding. While she should have spoken up it would have gone a long way if the tech had talked through the process a little more. If you’re are looking for someone to help you through the process find a friend who knows what they are doing. They did give her some nail care stuff as a small gift at the end of her appointment but my sister aim law and I finished an hour before he! And because of time we had to leave her there. It was a bit of a mess. My mani was fine, she asked what I wanted so I said round not thinking much of it. It wasn’t until I was sitting there half finished that I saw the prices taped to the lamp and round was an additional $4. I wish she had tapped the sign so I could have chosen a different option. When she was done they looked nice but an hour later I started noticing the discoloration around my cuticles and I think it’s getting worse as the day goes in. They are hard gel and this is my first time getting them. The shop was very nice and very luxurious feeling and they have some great options for different packages but I don’t think I will...
Read moreFirst time customer here tonight. Got Royal pedicure. The older gentleman who did it gave very relaxing massage and delivered the relaxing experience as advertised. I kind of wished there was more scrubbing on the heels and the callous remover applied but it wasn’t. Regardless, it was fine. Except after i saw my pretty toes, i asked if i could get a manicure too. A man asked me if i wanted longer nails. I was thinking about it because i didn’t see the prices listed and when i walked in he said gel was an additional 15 dollars which i thought was a bit much. I had a pleasant conversation with this man while doing my nails. My only complaint for fingers was that there was no clipping any of the cuticles, the nails are too thick and don’t look very even, and no massage or lotion at all. You can see in the picture i have lots of skin that should be clipped on my thumb. -Then when i went to wash my hands after manicure i noticed that my toe nails were still wet! Almost 2 hours later. It was strange. So he said he will try to fix them but I am sitting up with my toes propped up under a fan at home hoping that my toes will eventually dry. My bill was $117 and i paid a generous tip to each tech. Was it relaxing? Yes. Is it worth the amount i spent? No. It would have been more fitting for me to pay half of what i paid. Nice people but need a little more...
