Orem City Center Park — Attraction in Orem

Really awesome park. It's the location of the Orem Summerfest and it has several pokestops and gyms. If you play Pokemon go than there are always lots of people there on community days and when a big raid happens. The Everyone Together playground is made to be accessible to children with disabilities. There's and electric swing set for children in wheelchairs where they can be strapped in. It's jungle gym is as good or better than discovery park in pleasent grove. It also has the newer light game that you may have seen at other parks. The only downside of the park is that it's supposed to be an arboretum with several exotic trees but most of the signs describing them are so faded it's hard to read if not...

I have so many memories here! I grew up in Orem and this park was just a part of every day living. We'd play there, ride our bikes around, summers were spent here playing baseball! I remember the concession stand where we would buy gum, snow cones, sunflower seeds and other stuff. That was so much fun! I remember when I was a kid and I got to go on a carnival ride with Miss Orem at the time, made my whole summer. Lol. The park hasn't changed much over the years. The baseball fields are a little more then they used to be, and so is to the concession stand. You can still come here and watch the parade during Orem City days. It is a big park. Great place to hang out, decompress, jump on a playground or ride a bike around. The Orem City Center Park is the place to bring family and friends for picnics, pajama parties or plays in the park! They’ve got a stage that’s always lit up with performances and performers. Kids run about the playground and every Wednesday, a farmers market is hosted in the area during the summer and fall. There’s food trucks, merchants and buyer’s galore, it really gets you into a fall spirit.
