Cafe Teatro — Restaurant in Orinda

Met up with a former colleague for lunch this afternoon. Cafe Teatro is a fairly simple straight forward operation. Coffee drinks, Italian sodas, sandwiches, assorted muffins and pastries. I came in absolutely starving after fasting for bloodwork and ordered the tuna melt. It was delicious — warm, flavorful, on Dutch crunch with fresh veggies that stayed crisp. Honestly one of the best I’ve had in a long time.

Since this Cafe is so close to my house, I love taking my friends here when they come visit. The town of Orinda always gives me this feeling of leisure and grabbing a bite at Cafe Teatro helps to calm my mind.
