The Village Barber Shop in Orinda is THE BEST! I have been in the East Bay for 5 years and had my share of overpriced, hip hair stylists... Got a haircut here recently. It was quick, the guy cutting my hair was super nice, and I was happy with the haircut. $23 for a cut. Would go again.

Edit: Call before you go. Showed up at regular hours and the place was locked up with lights on. Must have gone on a lunch break...
