kibi's Cafe Orinda — Restaurant in Orinda

My husband and I stopped by at lunchtime today to order to-go for the first time. A friend of ours recommended it to us. It was delicious! We ordered the #12 - Heo nướng xả (Grilled Pork) fresh rolls, #2 - Heo nướng sả (Grilled Pork Bánh Mì) and #4 - Heo xíu ngũ vị hương (Hội An 5-Spice Pork). Everything tasted so fresh and was really really tasty! I ordered a Thai Iced Tea which was perfect and my husband ordered Vietnamese Coffee (hot) and he really enjoyed it!

Our rolls came with the fish dipping sauce which I actually used for my sandwich and it was so good! I ordered a peanut sauce for the rolls which tasted great.

The employees were extremely friendly and made us feel so welcome. This place was awesome and I look forward to eating here again when...

I'm so glad there's finally a great banh mi place here in Lamorinda! I've been going to their location in Walnut Creek for awhile and was so excited they opened one in Orinda close to my house! Everything they make is so fresh-tasting and delicious. We've tried the grilled pork, 5-spice pork, and grilled chicken banh mi. The pork ones are our favorite. The meat is tender and flavorful. The bread tastes fresh and has that great outer crunch but soft inside. I really enjoy their noodle salad because it's so refreshing with the fresh mint and veggies. I also got a Thai iced tea, and it was good. It really hits the spot when I'm craving Vietnamese food. Everything they have would be great for a picnic. Looking forward to coming back and trying the rest...
