This place is loud; I think it's due to having an open kitchen which adds so much noise that everyone talks loud to be heard at their table, which makes the whole restaurant unbearabley loud. On top of that they have very few booths; booths which might have added some noise reduction. On to the food.... very mediocre. Everything was so bland and tasteless. I got the California skillet which has sundried tomatoes, goat cheese, artichokes, and spinach- promising right?? Wrong!!!! Nothing tasted like it's supposed to taste, it's as if their vendor gave them the lowest quality ingredients. They also forgot to season my skillet, it's like they've never heard of salt. I should have given it one star but no one bothers to read a one star review, hence the 2 stars. I don't think I'm being overly critical. You should avoid this place.
Edit: I should add that the waitress was really nice(part of the reason I gave it 2 stars), but the hostess was not. The hostess wouldn't accomadate my request to switch to a booth. She cited that the place was busy but I told her I could wait, but I still got denied. If you ignore my advice to avoid this place, make sure to explicitly request a booth as soon as...
Read moreMy husband and I visited this past weekend while in town for a family event. When we walked a very nice lady was taking names and let us know the wait was about 5-10min (it was very busy so I wasn't expecting that short of a wait but we got set quickly) we were greated by our server Banessa whom was very knowledgeable about the menu when we had a few questions. We checked out the sensory the build was very clean, and we liked how they had the tables pre set with coffee cups, water and water classes and the extra you may need for your coffee including a pre wrapped steerer. We have both worked restaurant for a LONG time was impressed by the set up and how quickly everything was.
Im a little on the picked side when it comes to how my food is cooked and Banessa took what I said in regards to my eggs being cooked a certain way to heart she insuranced they came out right the first time.
Granet the prices where just a little a high the portions balanced that out. You get your money worth.
It seemed like a very well oiled machine watching everyone work...
Read moreIf I could give it less, I would. We frequent blueberry Hill In Homer Glen and Tinley Park quite often. Never had any issues or complaints for the most part, other than the fact that they don’t have spoons now. I was eating my eggs The other day and noticedIt was crunchy, So I looked closely I noticed there were shells in with the eggs. Well I understand probably Just a mistake. I showed it to the waitress and my girlfriend brought it up to the gentleman at the register When she was paying and He gave her five dollars off the bill, which to me is kind of insulting I couldn’t even finish my eggs I mean, I’m not going to eat them with the shells. So if you have a problem with the food at Tinley Park blueberry Hill I would just say buyer beware I would’ve thought of the very least they would take the meal and nothing else off the bill. We chose to pay the bill And not make a big deal out of it. To me It’s just very bad business and I won’t be returning to blueberry Hill in Tinley Park and I won’t recommend it again to anyone...
