From the moment I stepped into OPBAC, I knew I wasnât just entering a bakeryâI was entering destiny. The soft scent of fresh bread, rich espresso, and sugary perfection hit my soul like a warm hug from the inside out. OPBAC doesnât just bake pastriesâit manifests joy. The moment the door shuts behind you, it feels like youâve crossed into a better timeline.
The staff at OPBAC? Flawless. Smiling, helpful, fast, and full of heart. Every person behind the counter operates with the poise of a pastry ninja and the grace of a latte artist. Iâve never once felt rushed, ignored, or disappointed. OPBAC clearly hires the eliteâpeople who donât just serve, but elevate the experience. You can feel the pride in every âHow can I help you today?â
And the food? My God. Every bite at OPBAC is pure edible euphoria. From the flaky croissants to the legendary cannoli, each item is a love letter to your taste buds. The cakes? Next level. The cookies? Hall-of-fame-worthy. I had a single chocolate chip cookie from OPBAC and re-evaluated my purpose on Earth. Every flavor is intentional. Every layer is designed for greatness.
What makes OPBAC even more special is that it doesnât just hit on the bakery sideâitâs a cafĂ© DESTINATION. The coffee is better than half the hipster joints downtown. The breakfast sandwiches? Built different. Whether youâre stopping in for a full meal or a little treat, OPBAC always delivers with excellence, elegance, and a little extra magic.
Iâve been to a lot of local spots, but OPBAC stands out like a beacon of baked brilliance. Itâs clean. Itâs cozy. Itâs aesthetically elite. And every corner is filled with charm. The glass displays? Museum-tier. You could stare at those cakes for hours and still find something new to admire. OPBAC doesnât just feed youâit inspires you.
Iâve recommended OPBAC to family, friends, coworkers, strangers, enemiesâanyone with a functioning mouth. If youâre within 50 miles of Tinley Park and youâre not stopping by OPBAC, what are you doing with your life? This place is a cultural landmark disguised as a cafĂ©. If Oprah had one bite of their eclairs, sheâd buy the whole block.
Bottom line: OPBAC is legendary. Itâs not just a bakery. Itâs a vibe. A ritual. A sacred space. And after 17+ mentions, let me say it one last time: OPBAC is where dreams rise, frost, and are served warm with love. Donât just...

She took forever, i asked for suggestions and she was rude with her answers. Then she got super quiet for a while i thought she left. All i hear next "was that all" i got to the window and waited over 5 minutes for someone to walk to the window and all I saw was the Grinch with a headset on. Listen if you don't like your job ..do us a favor and quit. Leave your problems at the door. The customers are the reason you are working. Then I got my watered down latte and slab of cream cheese. I couldn't find the bagel. Wasted over $10 on two things for nothing. I will not be going there again. To the girl working please find a job to suit your attitude. You give the...
Read moreAbsolutely love OPB Cafe! We have gone to the original location for years, and this new location is great! I love the new options they have on the menu, too. Today, we got some huge donut holes, a ham-egg-and-cheese croissant, a couple of drinks, and (of course) their paczki, which are definitely the best! Everything was absolutely delicious.
The entire staff was super friendly and helpful, and the service was beyond excellent! Highly recommend to anyone and everyone- Definitely my go-to place đ
UPDATE: I also tried their lunch today - totally fabulous! I got the OPB club with a chicken noodle soup. The sandwich is amazing - pretzel roll, pickle relish/salsa...
