Fatburger & Buffalo's Express — Restaurant in Orland Township

I was extremely underwhelmed from the moment I walked into this establishment, your so called manager Mike / owner, was not very welcoming and I was asking him simple questions and he acted like I was inconveniencing him. I stated to him twice that I want grill onions with everything and mayo. Ask him about the difference between fries, and why was he offering me two different choices for drinks and he said that the price was the same. Upon receiving my receipt I could see on the receipt that clearly the prices were not the same and he charged me an extra 20 cents for a large drink. Upon eating into my sandwich I realize that there were raw onions and not grilled onions. When I went up to the front counter to ask him about it, he didn't really seem concerned about the fact that he messed up my meal. I'm all about supporting businesses in the community of Orland park, I shop in this area weekly. I am not a meat eater, so I typically would go to a place like 'I Cannot Believe It's Not Meat'' or purchase the Impossible burger at the Marcus theater.....I should have went with my first mind and purchased the Impossible Burger at the Marcus theater while watching Equalizer 3.....BTW both restaurants mentioned are a 1000 times better and so are the fries! This place is worse than McDonald's..... I will not be back!

I am sure the gentleman said his name was Mike(The gentleman had a baldhead, glasses grey goatee(beard), but that really doesn't matter. Secondly, he said there was no extra fee if I got a large drink, per the attached receipt09/19/23 at 2:02PM, clearly, there was an extra charge. I think you should investigate. This is definitely an opportunity to fine-tune not only the food that you serve, but the customer service as well. I'll make sure I video...

When I go to a place for the first time I like to try numerous things on the menu. Got the XL Burger . Delivered right to my table, wrapped neatly in paper so you can cuff your burger and hold all your toppings in. Burger was delicious! If you’re thinking about smash burger, five guys, or even Burger King…. Swing by Fatburger instead. Got the $5 Chili Cheese Fries. An excellent proportion served in a small basket, to be honest I could of went with those, a drink, and called it a day. Had to order the wings to try them out. They were perfect as well. Cooked to a good medium and not too dry. Lastly, before we left we had to grab a milkshake. Shakes were great! Can’t leave without one! This place hits different! 🔥 Establishment was clean and the staff were polite and patient when dealing with me staring at the menu for so long trying to decide everything that I’d order. As someone who used to cook in kitchens and burger joints, the communication the cooks have with each other is really nice. Keeps the flow of orders going though so it doesn’t take long for your order to be completed.

The only con that I have is that the bathroom floor was a little sticky and due for a cleaning but I’m sure it was almost time for someone to clean it.

I look forward to going back and ordering the XXXL Burger so that I can get my picture on the wall with the others who have conquered that...

First time coming to this here and I must say I wish it was a closer location somewhere in the city. I heard about fat burger from Facebook. I decided to treat my out to some dinner.

The moment we walked through the door we were greeted with a warm welcome by all staff members. There was no line, no wait. The young lady taking our order was so nice, patient and friendly. She gave us time to look over the menus and she even allowed us to try some wing sauce before actually deciding what flavored chicken wings we wanted.

The had many different flavors for chicken. They had none in and of course none out.

We both ordered Turkey burgers. And they even had veggie burgers & impossible burger options as well.

The food was cooked to ordered but in a timely manner. While we waited on our food to come the owner came to chat with us. I must say she was very friendly and had amazing customer service.

The only thing I will say is after dinning in we wanted to place a few to go orders for two more burgers it was about 9:35pm and the kitchen had shut the grill off. However, when we first asked what time they stop taking their last order they informed us that as long as we were inside the lobby before 10:00pm they would have to cook our food no matter what.

Other than the miscommunication I would highly recommend this place of business. 10/10
