Guardi's Pizza — Restaurant in Orland Township

Stopped in this evening I just moved into the area and wanted to try this place out since it was 2 blocks away. When I first walked in I greeted the guy behind the counter and he just looked at me and asked for my name!? So I told him I didnt make an order yet and he just turned around and walked away. The younger lady came and gave me a menu while I was going over it the guy pulled out 2 pizzas one with pepperoni and another with just cheese he pulled the knife out and cut both with the same knife. My point here is for those that order veggie pizzas and or don't eat meat or pork for say will get the residue from the previous pizzas. I think this should be addressed. I just turned away and walked out. Greeting customers should be top priority, also using the same utensils meat/pork etc should be a violation I will seek the Tinley Park health department tomorrow and see what they have to...

Tried to pay with a Guardis' gift card. Owner said I needed the receipt for the gift card. IT WAS A GIFT so I didn't have the receipt. The card has a magnetic strip on the back with a 16 digit number but they don't use that info. They say I must have the receipt. Why have a gift card if what matters is the receipt? Ended up paying out of pocket since my kids were hungry.

Ordered a deep dish, a thin crust, and some breaded mushrooms. Best part of the meal was the mushrooms with sauce, and the sausage on the deep dish.

Never buy a gift card from here. If they decide to do gift certificates with the dollar amount on them, that might work, but NEVER BUY THE GIFT CARDS because you will not be able to use them...

Ordered two large sausage pizzas on November 27th at 6:49. Amazing pizza and my go to favorite but I would recommend using cash, last time I used my card the employee up front said get a two liter on the house and in that time he took a picture of my card and went on a shopping spree at Walmart and created an account using my name. Got the alert immediately and canceled my card but what they could tell me is he created an account for Walmart under my name and bought everything as a gift I’ve always recommended this place because it’s the best in town but I don’t know if me my family or friends will ever order again and if we do we’re not making the mistake of...
