Italian Villa Pizza — Restaurant in Orland Township

There are enough reviews about the food at Italian Villa, so no need for another (but if you have to ask, it's 5 stars all the way). This is about the service we recently received, which is nothing short of the service we receive every time we order from here.

I forgot to mention on our recent order that we wanted half sausage, half chicken; I placed the order as sausage & chicken. When I arrived to pick up the food, George immediately said, I didn't realize the order was for you, so it's all sausage & chicken, mixed. There was a lot of insisting that took place right after. Because my wife doesn't eat sausage, he insisted on making her a personal pizza. I insisted on paying for it, but he insisted that it was at no cost! I ended up walking out with a huge pizza for myself, and a free personal pizza for my wife. Service at its best!

My wife and I have stopped by a couple of times during our bike rides, and we love to just sit outside and enjoy their pizza. We're recognized and greeted every time we stop in, but it has been our observation that George greets many of his customers by name. 37 years of great food and service...It's no wonder Italian Villa is loved by so many. Suffice to say, this is the only place we order our pizza from.

So if you're here reading reviews, looking for a good pizza place, or whether you should order from Italian Villa or not, just do it! Food and service...

Excellent pizza, great value. Italian villa has been a staple in Orland for years and we've always enjoyed their pizza. It has a distinctive taste, melts in your mouth, and is unlike other pizza places in the area, which is a great thing. That being said, I've only given four stars because most of the time when we've had it delivered the cheese has slid off to one side, and the driver hasn't taken much care to keep it level in his/her car. I realize the taste is what really matters, and if I could give 4.5 stars I would, but some of our pizzas have arrived very sloppy. I would suggest ordering Italian Villa for carryout for the true experience. One nice thing is that the owner has always rectified it and made it right by offering us free six packs of soda from time to time... or even offering to remake and re-deliver the pizza. Make that small change and you will earn...

Very friendly staff! 🙌🏽💯 Pizza smelled good but unfortunately, I was quite disappointed. And I am here now reading the reviews after my disappointment (I just had to see what other people have shared). I find that a lot of folks rated the pizza as being so good. If the pizza they had is anything like what I had those reviewers are not being truthful at all...or maybe they are friends of the restaurant. The sauce itself literally threw me off because it had zero seasoning, and the crust was weird tasting, like just a weird dough (I had thin crust pizza). I have so much pizza leftover (I have to figure out what to do with it to enjoy it because I don't want to throw food away). I am so sorry to share this, but I HOPE it encourages the restaurant to seriously look into their ingredients because there is very little Italian flavor,...
