Johnny's Red Hots & Gyros — Restaurant in Orland Township

I was a little nervous about whether I’d liked what I ordered as I had ordered from a place similar to Johnny’s (but not Johnny’s though) right down the street in Tinley and I refuse to go back to that place it was terrible but I’m so glad I came across Johnny’s! This was my first time here and I ordered a Philly cheesesteak with everything on it except mushrooms and a cheese fry for me and a cheeseburger and fry for my mom and everything was GREAT! The Philly cheesesteak as so good! My mom also really liked her burger as well. I think the fries could have been cooked a little more but that wasn’t enough to knock off any stars. Update: been here a few times since my first visit. Love it. I’ve only tried their gyros, burgers and Philly steaks and all are phenomenal and much better than any comparable Chicago style restaurant. Will have to try their other menu items! The owner knows me by name now and always greets me by my name when I enter.

Decided to give Johnny's Red Hots a try after looking at their menu online. I ordered the chicken kabob sandwich and a cheese fry and I was not disappointed!! The chicken was juicy and the flavors blended so well together. You can tell that the owner (I believe he was) was excited about his food and his business.
