This was hands down the most egregious negative experience I've ever had with a food establishment. First time ordering takeout from them, we ordered a pizza and breaded mushrooms. They handed us the pizza with the bag of mushrooms sitting on top of it, so we left it like that until we got home. Upon unwrapping, we find an incredibly greasy pizza with the cheese literally fused to the paper bag. 2/3 of the pizza was inedible. Mushrooms were also inedible as they were dry and burnt like they'd been fried several times. We called to complain, and all they offered was either they remake the pizza and we have to go back out to get it, or 50% credit. Unbelievable to charge us any money for this travesty of a meal. Would absolutely not recommend and will never be back. EDIT: I've just learned we haven't even been offered 50% off our order, it's a coupon for 50% off our NEXT purchase. I don't even know what to say. EDIT TO BUSINESS' REPLY: If they actually cared about making it right, they would've refunded the order when asked. They have done nothing.

First off I love Palermo’s. Since covid a lot of pizza tastes like dish soap, Palermo’s does not. So it’s worth the 40minute drive when I’m craving pizza. I am disappointed to come home and see that both of my pizzas are burnt. Not worth the hassle of driving back to get a new pizza. Do better.

In comparison to the other Palermo’s; 4.25 stars Orland, 4.75 Oak Lawn, 5* 63rd. In comparison to Orland area pizzeria’s, this one of the better ones. Sauce is sweet like other Palermo’s, but the sausage is missing something, it is good, but not Oak Lawn good. I will come back.

Ordered today and placed an order at 6:52pm. I wanted the $29.99 special they had online with wings, pizza (3 topping), and 2L coke. They ran out of chicken wings and I ordered cheese bread to substitute it. For a 3rd topping I ordered spinach and they ran out of that. So I told them that's okay I'll stick w just 2 toppings of pepperoni and garlic. They said that on my next order they will give me free wings. I was happy! At 7:34pm th lady that works there tells me that they ran out of cheese for my cheese breads and I told her cancel my order and take my name out of your whole system she said okay sorry. Then I look in my account through my phone and noticed the charge so I called back @ 7:36PM and the FIRST thing she said was, "TY for calling Palermos, SORRY for closing early" so the reviews of there hours being INCONSISTENT is TRUE. I told her idc about u closing early my name is such n such n I need my money back in my account. She said ok no problem. I also told her I will be sure to write a review on you guys. She said okay np. So here it is! I've had the pizza 2X before n it is really good. The 2nd te I ordered they didn't cook the dough well so u can taste uncooked dough but no biggie I popped it in my oven until cooked and it tasted delicious. I didn't call to report it bc I fixed the problem and we r all human. But Palermos problem seems to be consistent with MOST customers which is why they have such bad reviews. The pizza I can't deny is delicious BUT I foresee them closing soon bc of the inconsistent hours, the constant running out of stuff. Obviously these reviews are hurting there business already bc if they weren't they would not run out of stuff nor close early. But FAT RICKEYS assisted me and...

I am a regular pizza eater and this was one of my favorite pizza places. The last 2 times I have ordered this pizza for delivery, it has been over 2 hours late (even after a 50 minute estimate) or it did not show up at all.

This most recent time, I called in to ask where my pizza was. They had advised that I was not the first person to call and that they could not get a hold of their driver. They offered me a refund, but I thought that meant I was receiving a free pizza. Instead, they advised that they could not get me a pizza. since it was 8:30 and they close at 9pm. I had ordered this pizza at 6:15. If they had known they had no driver at that time (which they explained they did), they should not have taken my pre-paid order. On top of it, I had not received a refund as of this day for this order. I will have to call and remind them to return my money.

I will never order from this pizza place again. The staff is rude and has no respect for their customers. In a situation like mine, the main goal should be retention. They have not earned regular customers until they can treat...
