Honest Orland Park — Restaurant in Orland Township

We were really excited to try this place once it opened as we remembered the one in Schaumburg being pretty good. Unfortunately, this location did not deliver. Everything we ordered was either too mild ... Or sweet for some reason (sweet yogurt with dosa???). I even ordered what I was told by the waiter was their spiciest dish, and even asked for it to be extra spicy. What came out was so mild and flavorless, my spice-hating 7 year old was able to eat it. The Pav Bhaji not only had a weird aftertaste, but came out green instead of the usual red (also looking completely different from the image on their menu). The dosa we ordered was fine, but the sambhar barely had flavor and the coconut chutney tasted like water. We don't mind paying for good Indian food, but I felt scammed with how much I paid for this. We left most of the food uneaten. Ended up driving 3 minutes down the road to Priyas Kitchen to get a curry to go since Honest left us so unsatisfied. Probably won't be going back...

Really disappointing management . I had ordered a bunch of food for my team as i was giving them a treat , i ordered total 8 vadapav and 2 bhakhri pizza , order amount was around 70 dollars , i paid extra for cheese on vadapav and also requested to make them spicy but the experience was horrible , I received all vadapav with no cheese and all were so mild and also i received my bhakhri pizza box upside down , and when I requested and informed them regarding the issue , they denied to remake and even for refund, instead of that they were just arguing specially manager was so rude , literally like what about my treat to my staff ? It was spoiled , i drive to take order i wasted my time and all and at last they. Just gave me the refund of $10 for just cheese and denied to make order also the manager was not ready to accept the mistake. Really horrible experience, think 1000 times before going...
