The pizza was flavorful, but there's another place very close to them that in my opinion has better tasting Brazilian pizza. When I walked in the place was dead, only 2 guys on one table, it was so quiet you could hear a pin drop. There were no employees in sight, it took about 5min before anyone showed up and noticed I was there, no apology for the wait. 5 minutes doesn't sound like much until you're standing in the same spot with your arms crossed and nothing's happening LOL There are 2 things that annoy me when a pizza place does this and they aren't the only ones guilty of this. 1- If I order pickup and they turn that tablet around and the lowest option for tip is 18% (unless you find the hidden other button lol) that's outrageous! Simply cooking the food is not considered a service there is no restaurant business without food but if I'm not being served I'm not going to tip 18% or 25% or 30% for picking up the food myself. 2- This one really pisses me off when a pizza restaurant does this, it's sneaky and unfair! The pizza I wanted comes with black olives, I asked if I could exchange black olives for onions and I was told yes. But they didn't exchange a vegetable for a vegetable, they didn't put the olives they put the onions as requested but then they charged me $3 for the onions but did I get a $3 discount for not taking the olives that were included in the price? Of course not! I completely understand if I was asking to exchange olives for pepperoni but I think you should be allowed to swap a vegetable for another vegetable specially if they are all the same price as far as toppings cost and not be charged as if I was adding an extra topping when I specifically asked if I could exchange it. It's the principle of the matter! When pizza places do this I can't help but feel like I'm literally being robbed lol It's a combination of various small disappointments like this that leaves a bad taste in the mouth of the consumer and then the restaurant doesn't understand why customers don't come...
Read moreMediocre service, raw pizza dough, and poor employees manners...
Saturday night, the restaurant was busy but wasn't packed full, it took more than 5 minutes to someone stop by the hosts desk and greet us, after that it took another 5-8 minutes for someone to get us seated, even though there was plenty of empty tables. We waited 25-30 minutes, for the pizza, in the meantime our soda glass got refilled twice (I usually don't drink more than 1 glass during my meals, I was bored enough to have 3 glasses of soda), every time someone came to refill our glasses they would tell us that it was just 5 more minutes for the pizza... When the pizza arrived the dough was raw and inconsumable, we politely asked them to fire the pizza again and the second time it was better (not completely cooked still). In this business the pizza oven and the pizza chef are the star of the show, if the oven can't cook, and the cook can't tell the dough is still raw you got a big problem... My pizza wasn't the only one, we sat in a position where we could see the chef struggling to cut the all the pizzas with a 99 cents pizza cutter, the pizza was sticking to the cutter, making a mess and the chef was lost... The chef was disgusting to say the least, not shaved, not wearing a mask or hair restariner, using a very soiled t-shirt without a apron, and munching on the pizzas all the time. All other employees were munching everytime, you look towards the kitchen and there was someone eating something, non-stop. Because they don't use trays or baskets the servers were sticking their hands inside the glasses to carry them back to the kitchen, and on the way back from the kitchen, with that unwashed saliva dirty fingers and hands, they would munch on something, and after that grab someone's food and bring...
Read moreUPDATED REVIEW So after the business Owners “lovely” response (see below), where I was called a “Karen”, I believe there response is a GREAT representation of their “customer service”. To the situation at hand (which I didn’t even bother mentioning because the overall experience, food and pricing included were my main issue and reason for review), you did provide “compensation” but it was a laughable 5% off, literally $5 off of my bill, GREAT compensation for the horrible experience.
If you want to be treated poorly by adults acting like teenagers - by all means go waste your money at this establishment. If you want good Brazilian pizza go around the corner and have Piefection. —————————————————
Ugggh. So what review am I leaving, the one from tonight or the one for last year. Because this place has drastically changed - AND NOT for the better.
Prices have gone through the roof! I get inflation but $20 for a personal pizza?! Cmon!! And the cost cutting doesn't stop there. They switched to those beer glasses that are tiny at the top, and looks like a fancy mug but only hold 6-8 oz.
Quality has greatly decreased. Dough is not as fresh. Toppings are limited and scarce, when normally Brazilian pizzas are loaded! Wings are now the frozen Pizza Hut variety - just a drastic drop in quality.
But the worst. Customer service. They just don't care. They'd rather go be on their phones, or go behind the counter and talk trash about the people they're serving.
Just disappointing, upsetting and a giant downfall in what USED to be a good place. Go to...
