I’m giving two stars instead of one because 3 of the staff we interacted with were friendly. But the young lady at the front of the line was not friendly and should not be the primary greeter. She was busy having a private conversation with another male staff member about his U.S. citizenship while asking us what we wanted.
We walked in and ordered two bowls. They were out of pinto beans and scraping the bottom of container for brown rice. The young lady put sofritas on my bowl but then quickly scooped some out and put it back in the container. She put on the first three ingredients and then we waited nearly 5 minutes for the rest of the toppings. There was no one in line ahead of us but we watched several staff members make bowls for themselves. Then a young man started to finish our bowls and I said I wanted mild (pico) and he got a scoop of it, but then the same young lady that wasn’t a friendly greeter got mad and said “Don’t do it. You’re not on the clock”. The kid just stared at me for probably 10 seconds like he didn’t know what to do. He then told the girl “I won’t tell if you won’t” and he scooped on the pico. Then I got the rest of my toppings just fine. It took forever for them to ring us up because by now the bowls were backing up and you couldn’t tell which bowls belonged to whom.
When I got home, I realized that there was sour cream all over the corn. I can’t eat that because I’m lactose intolerant, so I had to make other food. I always get hot salsa but the cross contamination was so bad, I could see bits of cheese in it. But after not getting that, I still ended up with dairy in my food. I’m used to some cross contamination, but it was so bad it would’ve made me sick. I figured the chips would’ve been fine to eat at least, but they were stale, greasy, and a lot of overcooked, black bits at the bottom. And SOOOO SALTY.
Additional notes, the line was absolutely filthy and wasn’t being wiped down regularly, the cross contamination was horrible. But the people making their own bowls to take home, and one guy in particular absolutely LOADED the cheese on his own personal bowl. Staff up front was unfriendly, but there were a few nicer ones closer to register.
I have eaten in Chipotles all across the United States and this was one of the worst! I never eat at this...
Read moreNOT HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE -- Grilled chicken and chicken pastor meat was ice cold, like it just came out of the refrigerator. "Shredded" lettuce pieces the size of my hand. No lemon or lime of any kind for the iced tea. Deserted inside but WAY too loud to be comfortable or hold a conversation over lunch. We had to repeatedly yell our orders and try to lip-read to be heard over the blaring music. Drink area was trashed the entire 25min we were there -- nobody attempted to clean it or wipe it down (with melted ice in puddles everywhere on the floor - see photo taken on our way out). The only door to the outdoor dining patio locks from the inside, so you can't get back into the restaurant for napkins or to fill the drink you just purchased -- they purposely make it difficult for the handicapped and elderly. We had to ask (yell?) three times at the counter for a way to get my food outside to eat it -- apparently they have little metal trays for dine-in, but don't like to give them out because then somebody has collect and clean them. Makes it VERY difficult to eat here, especially when you're handicapped or elderly.
Husband and I had not been to this location in over a year, and now we remember why. 😞 We're very disappointed that CHIPOTLE DOES NOT CARE ABOUT LEGAL ADA REQUIREMENTS. We won't be back, except maybe to bring in a decibel meter to show management that the sustained volume level indoors is loud enough to cause permanent hearing damage. (They're in for a MAJOR medical class-action lawsuit from their employees if they don't lower the volume -- Yes, it's THAT loud inside.)
Do better Chipotle. You are blatantly non-ADA-compliant and are very lucky that nobody has turned you in or sued you over discrimination of the handicapped or elderly yet. I tried to talk to the team there and explain what needs to be done so their restaurant is legally accessible but they weren't interested in hearing it...or maybe they already deaf and are really bad at reading lips? Either way-- don't go here if you have ANY sensitivity to sound or need any legally required ADA accommodations. They won't help and...
Read moreI’ve been dining at this location for the past few years. I still eat there only because my husband gets his lunch from a restaurant next door. I have to agree with the previous reviewer, this is one of the dirtiest Chipotles I have eaten at. The floors are always filthy and the window sills have bugs and food in them. The tables are ALWAYS dirty. Everytime I eat there I have to get paper towels and clean my own table. The tables outside are always dirty with utensils and trash on the ground. The worst part is the bar area. It is always so disgusting! There is mildew on the drain grill, there is food and water in the utensil containers, food all over the drink bar. The trash cans are always overflowing. One time a homeless girl was in there and she took her sandals off her feet and sat them on the bar. I was so disgusted so I told an employee and she said they would take care of it. I ate my entire meal and they never came out to disinfect the bar. Gross! I honestly am concerned about the cleanliness of the ice/soda and fountain machines as well as the kitchen! The management at this location have poor attitudes and do not know the meaning of excellent customer service. They need to be trained bettered. There is an uneven sidewalk outside. I tripped on it one day so I informed the manager and suggested it be fixed to prevent anyone else from getting hurt or at least mark it with yellow spray or something. Nothing. Informed a second manager a couple months later. Nothing. Guess if I would have sued it would have got someone’s attention. There is an employee(young African-American girl) who has been given a managerial position I guess. She has a very bad attitude. She is very unfriendly and cold. She treats customers poorly. The authority has gone to her head. She should not be in a position like this. The corporate office needs to send an undercover investigator during lunch hour during the week a couple times to see how this place is run. After seeing the absolute poor customer service of this employee I will no longer step foot...
