I was craving sushi and found out that a new sushi restaurant opened in the Metro West area. I made a reservation through OpenTable for 8pm on a Saturday, but all times were available.

When I arrived at the restaurant, I noticed that it was surprisingly quite busy. A very friendly host (possibly the owner) greeted me and had another person seat me. Since I was unable to find the menu online, I focused on the menu provided and saw various sushi and hibachi options. I also asked for a cocktail menu, which was cheerfully provided. I went with the whiskey sour for my drink (11 dollars). When ordering my drink, I was asked for my name, which I thought was a bit unusual. I provided it, and also ordered the sushi combo 1 (29 dollars), which provided 24 pieces of various sushi and sashimi. Before my drink, I was given a small complimentary bite of a truffled omelette sushi, which was delicious and had a bit of salmon in it as well. When my drink came, I noticed that it had the letter A in it (which explains why they asked for my name). The drink was pretty refreshing and a bit on the lighter and sweeter side. When my entree came, I almost mistook it for another drink as it came smokey. But the smoke was just dry ice in a normally soy sauce container that was provided for show. What also surprised me is how quickly it came. There were various pieces of sushi and sashimi, but the fish were mostly salmon and tuna. I also saw a brie sushi, which I enjoyed the cheese, but it did have a bit too much salt. The salmon and tuna in the sushi and sashimi could have been more fresh, but it was alright. The fried salmon sushi could have used some sauce, which was offered, but I mistakenly declined. Honestly, the combo could have easily satisfied two people, and I was very full and couldn't finish the whole thing.

The service was very friendly and attentive. At least three people checked up on how I enjoyed my meal. I did have to ask for water, but it was provided quickly. I also informed my server that no menu was listed online , and he assured me that he will let the owner know.

The atmosphere was small and quite busy on a Saturday. The sushi bar was in the front and I think another bar was on the left side. The table area was a bit small, so it can be a little crowded when busy. It was pretty family friendly as well since I saw quite a few kids inside. The music was quite soft to recognize the genre, but I did find it a bit boring.

Sea-San is located in a strip mall near kirkman and metro west Blvd next to a gated townhome community. It used to be Urban Hibachi, which explains the hibachi options in the menu. Parking can be tight on a Saturday, so best to arrive a bit early. If the fish was more fresh, it would have been better. But I will visit again and try the hot...

I'm assuming you meant "Server Caio" as the name of the server at the sushi restaurant "Sea-San," so I'll incorporate that into the review.

Sea-San is a fantastic sushi restaurant that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for delicious Japanese cuisine. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the service provided by our server Caio was exceptional. Caio was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, which made our dining experience even more enjoyable.

For our appetizer, we ordered the tuna tartare, which was absolutely delicious. The tuna was fresh and perfectly seasoned, and the presentation was impressive. We also tried the Dragon Sushi and EBi Sushi, and both were excellent. The sushi was beautifully crafted with fresh ingredients, and the flavors were outstanding. The combination of sweet and savory was perfect.

We also ordered a limonada with strawberry, which was a refreshing and flavorful drink. It was the perfect complement to our meal. For dessert, we had the Pavlova, which was heavenly. The meringue was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and the whipped cream and fresh fruit on top were the perfect accompaniment.

Overall, our experience at Sea-San was excellent. The food, service, and atmosphere were all exceptional, and I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for delicious sushi in a cozy setting. Thanks to our server Caio, who made our experience even...

Worst experiences we have had in a while. The food was fantastic, but the culinary team was purposely slowing down the more expensive items on the All-you-can-eat menu. We ordered sashimi at the beginning of the meal. We didn't receive it until we inquired about it at the end of the meal. we then ordered another round of sashimi and waited another 20 minutes. the place was busy but I went up to visit the sushi guys with my 18 m/o son and saw 2 tickets and one unmotivated sushi chef staring into space at the center station. Also when we received the sashimi we noticed the slices were much thinner than the original serving. Needless to say, we won't be back. Also, our server lacked any ability to empathize or offer any apologies for the delay or menu mistakes. When asked about the truffle pate being absent from one of the menu items he simply stated that that component of the dish is only offered as an ala carte option...... despite falsely advertising on the AYCE menu. He did not provide any anticipatory service nor any recommendations or personality. This is sad because the food is very good, I recommend raising your prices rather than playing old restaurant tricks and compromising...

We made a reservation and came here to celebrate an event. There was a tasty appetizer on the table and we thought we were off to a good start. We didn’t know who our waiters or waitresses were because so many of them kept coming to the table. They also didn’t speak English very well. We ordered the gyoza to start and ordered an amaretto sour for each of us. The ceiling dripped water onto our table and we ended up moving to another table before ordering the next thing. Once at the new table, we asked about our drinks and a different waiter said he had to check if they had the drink. It was the first one listed on the drink menu! 🫣 We ordered the tuna tartare in the meantime and the waiter came back with one drink (not two) for the both of us. The gyoza weren’t very good and the tuna tartare was a plate of cubed raw fish, which was also not very good. We asked for the check and left to go elsewhere. Just the two apps and the drink were $45 and it was not good at all. I wouldn’t eat there again even if it were $10. The waiter offered us a free dessert but we wanted to leave and declined.

Friends and I stopped by Sea-San for a nice dinner on our Orlando trip and this place exceeded our expectations enormously. We’re avid sushi lovers so this was a happy find! The restaurant itself is beautiful and roomy, the music was nice and not too loud. Our waiter Caio was such a pleasure throughout our night. He provided great recommendations and we enjoyed everything he suggested. We got a good range of dishes, including various drinks, nigiri, djo, temaki, and risotto and enjoyed everything we had. The drinks were great and not too sweet, the nigiri were thick cut pieces of fish and delicious as well (get the tuna & foie gras or any of the new bluefin pieces!), the temaki were HUGE, and the risotto was absolutely scrumptious. The djo were something new we’ve never seen at a sushi restaurant before but definitely a fun addition to the meal. We ended with the chocolate lava cake (petti gateau on the menu) which was also super yummy. I would say a really good value for the meal and experience we had. Definitely would return again if we’re ever in the area. Highly recommend!
