I absolutely LOVE Border Grill, they have some of the best Mexican food in the area both from a flavor and cost perspective but I am tired of how much of a pain it is to order ahead of time. The phone lines don't work 90% of the time and you are forced to order through Uber Eats since their listing on Doordash is missing 90% of their menu on the app, the same for other online ordering options most of the menu is missing.
Until these issues with ordering are fixed, I'm keeping my review at one star.

The food here is DELICIOUS, easily my favorite Mexican inspired restaurant in all of Orlando. The staff was amazing, the prices were honestly a bargain for what you got when compared to portion size and also quality of the food. BORDER GRILL FRESH MEX
Whoa! You don’t usually expect to find a top restaurant in a small strip shopping center. But find it we did! And we’re most happy we did!
We saw a listing (#20 out of over 3,000 Orlando restaurants!). Then we saw that this place is family owned by authentic Mexican chefs. We HAD to drive to it from our hotel for lunch.
The food was simply outstanding! My wife ordered a beef enchilada which was served on a huge plate - necessary to accommodate the “grande-sized” enchilada accompanied by refried beans and a heaping serving of yellow rice.
I spied shrimp de la Diablo in the entrees. Instant decision for this shrimp lover! This dish’s description included roasted potatoes, bell peppers, onions. It came in a delicious liquidy tomato sauce filled with multiple layers of spices and flavors.
Portions were so large that we had plenty of leftovers for a second meal!
The menu was extensive but not expensive! Actually our bill was quite reasonable given the large portions.

My family just had a meal here today based on the reviews and they didn't disappoint. The service was great! Super friendly staff with amazing customer service. The food came quickly and was deliciously prepared. You can tell they make it with love. They're right by Universal Studios where we came from earlier. With 3 hungry kids, this meal just hit the spot and easy on the wallet. Will definitely come here again before leaving for Toronto end of the week.
UPDATE My family thoroughly enjoyed our last visit that we told our friends about this restaurant. Several days later after our final day at Universal Studios, I called to arrange seating for 17 people which they kindly accommodated. Again the food was delicious and their fast and attentive service was wonderful.
