OVER 9000 flavor points for this unique gem! As someone who's eaten at countless Asian restaurants across the city, I can confidently say Soupa Saiyan is powering up Orlando's pho game to Super Saiyan levels.
If you grew up watching Dragon Ball Z, prepare for a nostalgia overload. The moment you walk in, you're transported into an anime paradise. The walls are covered with DBZ artwork, figurines are everywhere, and classic episodes play on the screens. Even the ordering process is themed - you choose your power level (spice) and build your bowl like you're training for the World Martial Arts Tournament.
But let's talk about the real power move here - the food. Their pho broth isn't playing around. It's rich, complex, and clearly made with patience (probably took several episodes to reach its final form).
The noodles have that perfect chewy texture, and they don't skimp on the herbs and bean sprouts.
Portion sizes are generous enough to satisfy even a Saiyan appetite. Prices are reasonable for the quality and quantity you get - most bowls are under $17 which is a bargain considering the entertainment value alone.
The staff clearly enjoys the theme and gets into character, making the whole experience even more fun. Service is quick and friendly, though during peak hours it can get as crowded as the Hyperbolic Time Chamber.
Even if you're not a DBZ fan, the food stands on its own merits. But if you do know your Kamehameha from your Final Flash, this place is basically food heaven. Where else can you slurp amazing pho while watching Vegeta yell about his pride?
Soupa Saiyan proves that themed restaurants can deliver both on atmosphere AND food quality. This isn't just a gimmick - it's a legitimately great pho spot that happens to be perfect for anime fans. As Goku would say, "I'm always ready for more!" And trust me, you'll be ready to come back...

While the atmosphere was cool and fun at the end of the day this is somewhere to get good food. The food was terrible. We took our son here for his B-DAY. It was a party of 9. We were between 2 table (Okay because the place is small). We ordered a variety. Apps were basic. If you've ever done ANY respectable noodle shop the Ramon is piping HOT not warmer than luke warm. You should have to blow on the noodles before eating. The flavors are bland, the temp was low, and the toppings again...lack flavor. See the place SKIP the food. It is ALL ridiculously over priced. We spent more than $220. Aside from the fact that this is a NOODLE place, I was just so so basic and the decor is more memorable than the food. Bottled water is KIRKLAND from Costco but pictured Aquafina. No Hughe but 48 bottles is like 4 bucks so selling generic and passing off a name brand. Not a good look. The pork in the noodle bowl was flavorless and tasted boiled. Gross...had to take it out and so did everyone else. Kimchi-stir-fry-bowl was 3.5/5. Fried dumplings - 1/5. They are actually deep fried and not like any I've ever has (no in a good way). Eggs are straight up hard boiled eggs. No flavor or spice or close to authentic. Just a plain egg for extra $4 if you added more than the 1/2 you get. Sugar donuts...$6.50, 3 pieces of greasy dough with sugar - 1/5. Grab Rangon - 4/5 - tasty if you like that. Definitely no value for the $$$. It's Theme park prices. Guess they think they are part of Universal. Better off at KOBEs or basically anywhere for the food. All jokes aside...really, really wanted to like this but it was just marginal at best. The place was low energy and essentially...
Read moreAbsolutely cute little place. A few tables for you to eat after you order. Super fun decor of the show everywhere. My teens enjoyed looking at the pieces, and they let me take their pictures, which never happens.
When we walked in, we were immediately greeted by the sweetest older gentleman who offered to push tables together for us, but as we were the only ones there, we just took over two.
You place your order on these tablets attached to the wall where there are pictures and descriptions of each dish. You can select what you want, if you don't want an item or option.
Remember to order drinks. My boys got the glass ball sodas and enjoyed popping the ball. I just got the fountain soda and it was the crunchy pebble ice.
The same gentleman brought everything to us in a very quick turnaround. He was absolutely so kind.
Run down of the food: Shrimp appetizer was 3 good sized pieces really yummy. Pork dumplings fried were a little more crisp then we like, but filling was good Fries were perfect crispiness. We chose salty, but be careful as they generous with the salt, which worked for us, but not everyone. Japanese cheesecake was phenomenal. All of the noodles dishes were absolutely delicious. We all customized our order and everything came out exactly what we wanted.
My autistic son wanted plain rice noodles no broth. And the very nice gentleman came to double check that was correct and it was exactly what he wanted.
All told we had an awesome experience, the food was absolutely delicious in larger portions, and we left with leftover containers.
When we come back to Orlando we would absolutely...
