Good evening. I was at this establishment tonight and didn’t have the best experience for my anniversary dinner. We were greeted and seated right away. Upon waiting for our other guests to arrive, the server asked us if we would like something to drink. My husband ordered a water and I ordered a passion fruit margarita. When the drinks arrived, I noticed that the margarita had a funny taste to it so I had my husband take a sip of it. It tasted off and artificial. I told my server that my drink had a funky taste and she said with sarcasm. Some people don’t like passion fruit. Normally I just dismiss comments like that so that didn’t really offend me. I asked her for a strawberry daiquiri and when that came out it was a virgin drink. It had absolutely no alcohol when it was supposed to. While we were ordering our food and asking questions about the menu, we felt rushed. She was being a bit snarky and rude to us and seemed like she was trying to get us out as fast as she could. We get our food and it was ok. One of my guests had asked her for an extra plate and the server said sure. The runner comes out with the extra plate and gave it to my guest. She also had another plate of food and gave it to my guest. My guest thought it was a plate that her husband ordered so she starting eating it. The server comes back and says “That isn’t your plate. You ordered one”. The server snatched the plate away from my guest and started walking towards the kitchen. We then asked her what she was going to do with the plate and she said we will take care of it in the kitchen. Now just a side note, our food came out cold as well. She came out 5 minutes later with that same plate , steaming hot, with just more addons and gave it to another customer. While we still have food on the table she gave us our reciept and asked us if we wanted to go boxes. I said to her yes we do. While we are packing the food she came over to us with the payment machine and ran our credit card without asking us if we would like anything else. I just want to say that this was a dining experience that I wish to never have again especially when I am celebrating a wedding anniversary. I will never go or...
Read moreMy wife, threekids and I went there for dinner and was looking forward to a good atmosphere and decent food however what we received was not that at all. We were seated with another group of five and were met with a cook who seemed intoxicated and confused. We ordered for our children as my wife and I had already eaten and they were excited to try it out. When my wife left to use the restroom the chef referred to me as sugar daddy, implying that my wife was only with me for my money, and my kids were shocked. While she was away he kept making “that’s what she said” jokes that no one found funny. The food prep itself was atrocious. We ordered the more expensive meals such as filet mignon and the shrimp meals but everything was slopped on the griddle. After serving everyone their noodles on top of rice followed by mixed vegetables on top of that the meats were finally thrown on the griddle. The steaks were thrown on and we only received about a quarter of one steak worth of meat with potatoes. Another patron, probably a regular, received an exorbitant amount and the scraps were split between the rest of us. We ordered one filet mignon meal, one chicken teriyaki, and one kid shrimp meal and it came out to $124 even though we basically got a hodgepodge of what everyone else got. My son suggested going here because he wanted to experience someone doing the traditional hibachi stuff but all the cook did was catch an onion on fire and slide it across the griddle then threw it in the garbage. I left a sizable tip because that’s just what I do but after having left the place my wife questioned why I hadn’t caused a seen. Service and quality of food have much to be desired and I recommend future patrons to consider some place else if they’re interested in...
Read moreRUN!! 🛑 Save yourself the anger and disappointment! In all my years on Google Maps, I have never left a review like this one. The whole meal cost $161.87 with no purchased beverage to feed two adults, one teenager, and one child. This included the non-negotiable 18% gratuity. Note: The food cost is the same at the grill or at the regular dinner tables. The real burn comes from the chef continuously making sexually perverted comments to all the men at the table, and to make matters worse, there were three children at the table. My family was very uncomfortable and my wife and daughter were disgusted. If that was not bad enough, the drink service could not have been worse—because she gets her 18% whether she serves you or not. One of the cooktops was wrapping up and we’re the only other customers in the restaurant. We received our waters initially and then not receive refills until a other refill until more customers arrived after we finished our soup and salad. All of our ice at our cooktop was becoming dryer and dryer as the entire meal was consumed. Only as the bill was to be brought out was our drink refilled again with the verbal reminder two or three times that an 18% gratuity was already added. We have eaten at a Kobé in St. Petersburg that was very good. We have eaten at this one two outside Universal Studios’ City Walk and it will be our last time. I can eat the cost, but I cannot stomach sexually perverted comments from our chef and lackadaisical service from our waiter. DEAD!! ☠️ NEVER AGAIN!! Oh! I forgot about the food. The steak has little flavor and a bit dry for Medium. The rice was quite salty and there was nothing special about the vegetables and noodles about...
