Mika Cafe — Restaurant in Orlando

I was out of town for business and had a taste for something new. Just casually, I step out of my hotel and wander across the street to what appears to be a coffee shop. However, the coffee shop does have a food menu. I ordered the falafel sandwich served on French bread with French fries. When my food was served, and I took a bite of the sandwich, I could taste every ingredient. Moreover, the French fries were fresh!!! The food was so fresh and flavorful that I gave the owners a thumbs up and started speaking to them in Spanish. LOL. I told them that their food reminds me of when I travel and eat out of the country. You see, overseas, whether in Africa, parts of Europe, or South America, they make it from scratch when you order from the menu. I do not recommend. The moment my children and I walked in, this man (I'm guessing the owner) was on his phone. We walked up to him, stood there and he continued on his phone. I had to get his attention or else we would still be standing in front of the cash register. There was a very young man who made my coffee, unfortunately not a good one. Terrible experience, disappointing for my children. No matter what they reply to this or other posts, don't believe them. The story goes like this. I had a sandwich. The bread was rubbery like bread that was stale and warmed too long in the microwave. Had to fight to bite through the bread, and that's the most important part of a sandwich. Was I upset and wished my money would magically appear back in my wallet? Yes.

The consolation prize is that I love French fries... and french fries came with my order.

The Empanadas was okay too, but I didn't like the garlic sauce that's offered. But that's a personal preference.
